Aleksander Barkov FLA C
Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Lends helper in loss
6h agoBarkov posted an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins in Game 1.
Barkov forced a turnover and fed Matthew Tkachuk for the opening tally, but that was all the Panthers could produce against Jeremy Swayman. In addition to the helper, Barkov went 19-for-28 at the faceoff dot, which was a strength for the Panthers as a whole against a less experienced Boston center group than in years past. Barkov is up to two goals, four assists, 16 shots on net, 16 hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over six playoff outings.

Matthew Tkachuk FLA LW
Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Nets lone goal in Game 1 loss
6h agoTkachuk scored a goal on five shots, added six hits and went minus-3 in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins in Game 1.
Tkachuk opened the scoring in the second period, converting a feed from Aleksander Barkov following a turnover. Tkachuk is on a nine-game point streak dating back to April 11, during which he has produced five goals and nine assists, with 10 of those 14 points coming in his six playoff outings. The winger has added 26 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating in the postseason.

Sergei Bobrovsky FLA G
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Falters in Game 1
6h agoBobrovsky allowed four goals on 28 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins in Game 1 of the second round. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Bobrovsky was excellent for the first half of the game, but the Bruins got to him three times in 6:47 late in the second period and never looked back. The 35-year-old goalie has allowed 18 goals over six postseason appearances, going 4-2 in those contests. The Lightning never presented a sustained challenge in the first round, but the Bruins look stronger, which could make this a tough series if Bobrovsky can't shake off this loss. Game 2 is Wednesday in Florida.

Parker Wotherspoon BOS D
Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon: Pockets helper in Game 1 win
6h agoWotherspoon logged an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in a 5-1 win over the Panthers on Monday in Game 1 of the second round.
Wotherspoon has played in six straight games since entering the lineup for Game 3 of the first round. The helper was his first point since March 26. The 26-year-old defenseman will continue to work in a bottom-pairing role, so there's not much fantasy appeal in his game. He's earned 11 hits, 11 blocked shots, six shots on net and a plus-1 rating in the postseason after recording eight helpers, 84 hits and 67 blocks over 41 regular-season appearances.
-
James van Riemsdyk BOS LW
Bruins' James van Riemsdyk: Assist streak at three games
6h agoVan Riemsdyk registered an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Van Riemsdyk has a helper in three straight contests, and he's up to four points over six playoff outings. The 35-year-old winger's continued success on offense can only help him stick in the lineup as a bottom-six forward with power-play skills. In addition to his offense, he's picked up 11 hits, 10 sohts on net and a plus-3 rating this postseason.
-
Trent Frederic BOS C
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Registers helper
6h agoFrederic recorded an assist, six hits, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Frederic helped out on Brandon Carlo's goal late in the second period. The 26-year-old Frederic is up to four points through eight playoff contests, solid work for a player in a third-line role with virtually no power-play time. He's added 34 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-7 rating. Frederic can offer solid play as a checking forward, but consistent offense is likely too much to ask of him.

6h agoCoyle logged an assist, seven hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Coyle set up Brandon Carlo's tally late in the second period. The 32-year-old Coyle has been a bit quiet on offense during the playoffs, though that hasn't prevented him from being a physical force in a top-six role. The goal was Geekie's second in his last three games, and the 25-year-old forward has four points through eight playoff contests. The 35-year-old Marchand failed to record a point over the final three games of the first round, though the Bruins totaled just four goals in that span. The winger has three goals, six assists, 18 shots on net, 19 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through eight playoff outings.

6h agoPastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.
Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests. The winger has added 27 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-2 rating while playing in his usual top-six role.
-

Brazeau provides physicality and a little depth scoring, making him an intriguing budget option for certain DFS formats.
-
Jake DeBrusk BOS LW
Bruins' Jake DeBrusk: Deposits empty-netter
6h agoDeBrusk scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added four hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
DeBrusk was able to find the empty cage to finish off Monday's tone-setting victory to begin the second round. The 27-year-old was also strong early in the first round with five points over the first three games against the Maple Leafs, but he was held off the scoresheet in the final four contests. DeBrusk typically won't have the most consistent offense, but he's in a position to succeed in a top-line role. The winger has added 32 hits, 19 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over eight playoff outings.

Bruins' Brandon Carlo: Tallies in win
6h agoCarlo scored a goal on two shots, added six hits, blocked three shots and went plus-3 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.
Carlo's day began with the birth of his son, leaving the defenseman questionable for the contest. He was able to fly to Florida and play, and he was strong in all zones, which included him scoring the back-breaking goal late in the second period to put Boston ahead 3-1. The 27-year-old blueliner has three points, 13 shots on net, 22 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through eight playoff contests, as well as a fun story to tell his son when he grows up.
-

6h agoLohrei scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, went plus-2, logged four hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Carlo has one goal, one assist, 11 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 16 hits in seven outings this postseason. If Carlo is unavailable to play in Monday's contest, Derek Forbort could be in the lineup for the first time since March 2 after recovering from an undisclosed injury.

Thomas Harley DAL D
Stars' Thomas Harley: Gets first point of postseason
1d agoHarley registered an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 7.
Harley snapped a seven-game point drought with the helper on Radek Faksa's third-period tally, which was the game-winning goal. The 22-year-old Harley had an excellent regular season with 15 goals and 47 points over 79 appearances, but he has just one assist with 12 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven playoff outings. He'll still absorb top-four minutes, especially with Dallas leaning heavily on five blueliners, but his offense may take a back seat to his defensive duties again versus the Avalanche in the second round.

A turnover led to the Panthers' lone goal in the second period, which was scored by Matthew Tkachuk. Swayman was otherwise stellar again, as he allowed a single goal for the fourth time in seven playoffs outings. His other three starts have seen him give up just two tallies each time. Swayman is 5-2 with a 1.42 GAA and a .955 save percentage this postseason, and he should be considered a near lock to start in Game 2 on Wednesday.
-

1d agoHill surrendered two goals on 24 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Stars in Game 7.
A turnover led to the Stars' first goal, and they scored again early in the third period on the first shift of the frame. Hill went 1-2 with five goals allowed on 72 shots over the final three contests of the series after losing the starting job to Logan Thompson at the beginning of the playoffs. Hill is under contract for next year and should continue to split the goaltending duties with Thompson, barring any trades that change the composition of the Golden Knights' crease.
-
Jake Oettinger DAL G
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Knocks out Vegas
1d agoOettinger stopped 22 of 23 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 7.
Things looked bleak for the Stars after they dropped the first two games of the series, but Oettinger steadied himself and the team by winning four of the last five contests. He's allowed two or fewer goals in six straight games and owns a 1.95 GAA and a .925 save percentage through seven playoff outings. Oettinger won't have much time to rest, as the Stars' second-round series versus the Avalanche begins in Dallas on Tuesday.
