Lohrei registered an even-strength assist in Friday's 6-2 loss to Florida. Lohrei had the primary helper on a Jake DeBrusk goal in the third period that cut Florida's lead to two. The 23-year-old Lohrei also added one shot, one hit and one block in 20:13 of ice time. The young blueliner is making a name for himself this postseason -- Lohrei is up to one goal and three assists in eight games to go along with a plus-2 rating. Lohrei's next chance to help Boston's offensive production will come Sunday in Game 4.... See More ... See Less

Lohrei scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, went plus-2, logged four hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1. Lohrei's top-shelf tally in the second period stood as the game-winner, and he also assisted on a Justin Brazeau goal in the third. The goal was Lohrei's first career playoff tally. He has three points, nine shots on net, eight hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over six postseason appearances while filling a bottom-four role.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Generates helper
Lohrei logged an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4. Lohrei was solid Saturday, including a play where he forced a turnover and fed James van Riemsdyk for the Bruins' opening goal. The 23-year-old Lohrei has added two shots on net, three hits, three blocked shots and four PIM over two playoff contests. It's unclear if he'll keep his spot in the lineup since Derek Forbort (undisclosed) has been cleared to play and Matt Grzelcyk also awaits an opportunity to draw into the lineup. Parker Wotherspoon and Kevin Shattenkirk could also be in danger of being scratched with the Bruins' defense corps getting healthier.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Recalled from minors
Lohrei was recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday, per Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe. Lohrei has played 41 games with the big club this season, registering four goals and nine assists to go along with 43 shots on goal. The 23-year-old could play in Game 3 versus Toronto on Wednesday as Andrew Peeke (finger) and Derek Forbort (undisclosed) are both dealing with injuries. If he gets into Game 3, Lohrei will likely either play on the second or third defensive pairing.... See More ... See Less -

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Shipped to AHL
Lohrei was sent down to AHL Providence on Friday, per PuckPedia. Lohrei has played in 36 games with the Bruins this year, recording four goals and seven assists. Bruins Network@BruinsNetwork19H agoWhen it comes to suggesting trading Charlie McAvoy, sorry, but you’re telling me that you’re looking for engagement or just simply don’t get it.
