Astros manager Joe Espada said Sunday that Urquidy (forearm) will make another rehab start in the next few days, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 29-year-old allowed four earned runs and threw 59 pitches over four innings during his second rehab start Saturday, and he'll require one more start before potentially joining the Astros. If Urquidy remains on a five-day pitching schedule, he could make his season debut as early as May 28 in Seattle.

Bradford (ribs) said Sunday he's been shut down from throwing since he's not recovering as quickly as expected, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander apparently wasn't experiencing any pain since recently starting up a throwing program, but his recovery also wasn't moving forward. It's unclear when Bradford is expected to restart the throwing program, and he should be considered out indefinitely until his status is updated.

Kershaw (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on the field at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Kershaw has thrown multiple bullpens in recent weeks, though this was the first one that took place on the field. The left-hander is building back up slowly from offseason shoulder surgery and isn't expected to be ready to join Los Angeles until at least mid-July. When Kershaw does return, it's unclear how the Dodgers will adjust their rotation given that back-end starters James Paxton and Gavin Stone have both been pitching relatively well.

Knack was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and is starting Sunday against the Reds.

The right-hander spent nearly the past three weeks in the minors but will rejoin the Dodgers for Sunday's series finale. Knack has a 2.81 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 11:5 K:BB across 16 innings through three big-league starts this season, and he could be headed back to Triple-A after the contest.

Musgrove (elbow) is listed as the Padres' probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Reds, ESPN.com reports.

The veteran right-hander was originally expected to return from the injured list to start Sunday in Atlanta, but Yu Darvish is now pitching that contest following Saturday's postponement. Musgrove will return from elbow inflammation without going on a rehab assignment, so he could have some minor workload limitations in his first start back.

Furthermore, the Padres are currently listing Dylan Cease and Randy Vasquez for Monday's doubleheader, so Tuesday may be the new target date for Musgrove. Manager Mike Shildt had previously indicated Musgrove would return Sunday, but that was before Saturday's rainout. Musgrove has struggled this season but appears on track to bypass a rehab assignment and return shortly after the minimum.

Snell (thigh) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list and make his next start for the Giants, likely Wednesday against the Pirates, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The veteran left-hander made his second rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, and he's apparently ready to rejoin the Giants after he struck out 10 over five scoreless frames. Snell didn't give up a run across his two rehab outings, which is an encouraging development after he posted an 11.57 ERA in his first three MLB starts of the campaign after signing late in spring training.

Buehler (1-1) earned the win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out seven over six shutout innings while allowing three hits.

Buehler looked like his old self for the first time since returning from the injured list, allowing just one single over the first four innings and one extra-base hit on the night while posting a season-high seven strikeouts. The right-hander hadn't gone more than four innings in either of his previous two starts to open the campaign and had also allowed at least one home run in each of those outings. However, Buehler might have found his groove Saturday, as he managed to get through six frames on just 78 pitches while also allowing just three hits, which marked a season low.

Ashcraft (3-3) was tagged with the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks over five innings while striking out five.

Ashcraft retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced in the contest but struggled with his command throughout, needing 44 pitches to get through the first two innings. The Dodgers would finally get to him in the fourth after the right-hander walked two of the first three batters to open the frame, eventually leading to two runs coming home for Los Angeles. It marked the third consecutive start in which Ashcraft has allowed three runs and the third time in a row that he's failed to make it through six innings. Additionally, he's now walked three batters in three straight outings and hasn't won a start since April 20 against the Angels (span of five starts).

Flaherty (1-3) allowed two runs on five hits across six innings to earn the win Saturday against the Diamondbacks. He walked two and struck out nine.

Flaherty was sharp as he lowered his ERA to 3.79 and picked up his first win of the season. Despite having only the one win so far, the righty has had a nice bounceback campaign to this point after posting a 4.99 ERA with the Orioles and Cardinals last year. Flaherty has been buoyed by a rise in strikeouts, as he now has an 11.9 K/9 this season, up from 9.2 in 2023. He'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled outing, which is is penciled in for Thursday against the Blue Jays.
