Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Crosses plate four times

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Ramirez has five multi-hit efforts, five homers and 15 RBI over his last seven contests. He opened the scoring in the first inning with his team-leading 16th homer of the campaign. The third baseman has added a major-league-best 56 RBI with 41 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a .272/.328/.558 slash line over 54 games this season. Ramirez was hatting as low as .227 with a .667 OPS on May 4, but he's powered up in a big way over the course of this month.

  • Josh H. Smith 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Smith: Logs third steal

Smith went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch one RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Smith got the Rangers on the board with an RBI single in the third inning. He also stole second in the eighth after he was plunked. Smith has gone 13-for-43 (.302) with two steals over his last 12 contests. During that stretch, Smith has been promoted to the No. 3 spot in the order. He's slashing a sharp .280/.379/.409 with two home runs, three steals, 21 RBI and 24 runs scored over 190 plate appearances.

  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

Twins' Jose Miranda: Drives in two

Miranda went 1-for-4 with a two-RBI single during Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Royals.

Miranda's production at the plate continued Tuesday, plating Manuel Margot and Carlos Correra on a first-inning base hit. In May, Miranda is batting .276 with three long balls, 14 runs scored and 10 RBI across 22 games as the Twins' primary third baseman. However, the 26-year-old could be squeezed out of the starting lineup once Royce Lewis (quad) gets activated from the IL in the coming week or two.

  • Rafael Devers 3B | BOS

Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Four hits vs. Orioles

Devers went 4-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over Baltimore.

The four hits are a season-high for Devers while the triple was his first since 2022. The 27-year-old third-baseman had cooled off a bit following his six-game home-run streak, going 3-for-17 in his last five contests. Following Tuesday's effort, Devers is slashing .289/.380/.548 with 10 homers, 26 RBI and 28 runs scored through 192 plate appearances this season.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Day off Tuesday

Bohm isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Tuesday's game against San Francisco, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Bohm is batting .311 on the season, but he will get a day to regroup Tuesday after going 6-for-30 (.200) across his last seven contests. Kody Clemens will fill in at the hot corner and bat eighth.

  • DJ LeMahieu 3B | NYY

    Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Officially activated

The Yankees reinstated LeMahieu (foot) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

A fracture of LeMahieu's right foot has kept him on the injured list all season, but he will return to make his season debut Tuesday while starting at third base and batting ninth. The 35-year-old veteran will act as New York's primary third baseman going forward, though he's expected to receive a handful of off days initially as the Yankees attempt to ease him back into action.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | DET

Tigers' Gio Urshela: Absent from starting nine

Urshela is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

The Tigers will reward Matt Vierling's two-homer performance Sunday by giving him another start at the hot corner, pushing Urshela out of the starting lineup against Jared Jones. Urshela is slashing .273/.312/.318 without a home run across 93 plate appearances this season.

  • Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | PIT

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Activated from injured list

The Pirates activated Hayes (back) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Hayes has been sidelined since early May with a back injury but will skip a rehab assignment and go directly back on the Pirates' active roster. The third baseman is slashing a disappointing .240/.322/.318 with just one home run and zero stolen bases this season.

  • DJ LeMahieu 3B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Slated to bat ninth in return

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said in an interview on Jomboy Media's "Talkin' Yanks" podcast that LeMahieu (foot) will start at third base and bat ninth Tuesday versus the Angels in his season debut.

LeMahieu had appeared in line for leadoff duties with the Yankees before suffering a non-displaced fracture of his right foot shortly before Opening Day. However, Anthony Volpe looks to have a tight grip on the leadoff job now, pushing LeMahieu to the bottom of the batting order for the time being. LeMahieu is slated to be the team's primary third baseman, although he will be given extra off days initially as the Yankees ease him back into action.

  • Mark Vientos 3B | NYM

Mets' Mark Vientos: Absent from lineup

Vientos is not in the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Dodgers.

It will be Brett Baty handling third base and being tasked with trying to solve right-hander Tyler Glasnow. Vientos figures to be in the lineup for the nightcap against Gavin Stone.
