Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Taken to hospital
16m agoNamestnikov (upper body) is being evaluated at the hospital after taking a shot off the head during Sunday's 5-1 Game 4 loss to Colorado, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Namestnikov took a Nate Schmidt slapshot off the head in the third period but was able to skate back to the locker room with some assistance, which is a positive sign. The team should have an update on Namestnikov's status after some more testing, but his availability for Game 5 on Tuesday is in doubt at this stage. He had one shot on goal in 10:05 of ice time Sunday.

Juuse Saros NSH G
Predators' Juuse Saros: Guarding cage Sunday
1h agoSaros will start Game 4 at home against the Canucks on Sunday, Zach Gilchriest of the Predators' official site reports.
Saros hasn't had to do much work in this series but the Predators find themselves in a 2-1 hole. He's stopped 44 of 50 shots in three games and hasn't made more than 17 saves in any contest. Saros is just 4-4-1 with an .899 save percentage since the start of April.

Nicolas Hague LV D
Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Still not skating
2h agoHague (lower body) isn't expected to play Monday in Game 4 versus Dallas, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Hague, who hasn't resumed skating yet, is poised to miss his third straight contest. He supplied four goals, 17 points, 72 shots on net and 165 blocked shots in 55 appearances during the regular season. Alec Martinez will probably remain in the lineup for Game 4 due to Hague's absence.

Arturs Silovs VAN G
Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Starting in Game 4
3h agoSilovs will defend the road net Sunday in Game 4 against Nashville, per Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK television.
With Thatcher Demko (knee) and Casey DeSmith (undisclosed) unavailable due to injuries, Silovs will make his NHL playoff debut. The 23-year-old Silovs stopped 74 of 84 shots in four NHL appearances during the 2023-24 regular season en route to a 3-0-1 record.
-
Casey DeSmith VAN G
Canucks' Casey DeSmith: Out Sunday
3h agoDeSmith (undisclosed) will not be available for Game 4 against Nashville on Sunday, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK television reports.
DeSmith is dealing with a mystery injury but it's reportedly not related to the hit he took from Michael McCarron in Game 3. Arturs Silovs is expected to start Game 4 on Sunday. DeSmith stopped 41 of 45 shots in his two appearances this series and should be considered questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 matchup for the time being.

Radek Faksa DAL C
Stars' Radek Faksa: Remains game-time call
3h agoFaksa (undisclosed) will be a game-time call for Game 4 on Monday against Vegas, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Faksa was able to skate on his own after missing Saturday's Game 3 with an injury. Faksa hasn't tallied a point yet in the playoffs after posting seven goals and 19 points in 74 regular-season games. If Faksa ultimately can't go Monday, Ty Dellandrea would likely remain in the lineup in a fourth-line capacity.

Brayden Point TB C
Lightning's Brayden Point: Three-point effort in Game 4
8h agoPoint scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, during Game 4's 6-3 win over the Panthers on Saturday.
The 28-year-old center had a hand in both of Steven Stamkos' tallies and fired home his own goal late in the first period to give Tampa Bay a 3-0 lead. Point has two goals and five points through the series' first four games, and the Bolts may need another strong performance from him in Game 5 on Monday to avoid elimination.
-
Nick Paul TB C
Lightning's Nick Paul: Secures crucial win for Bolts
8h agoPaul netted a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Panthers for Game 4 of the conference quarterfinals.
The Lightning actually had a two-man advantage at the time, with Paul collecting his own rebound at the top of the cage for a backhand insurance tally. Paul broke out offensively in the regular season, adding 24 goals, 22 assists and 14 power-play points -- those were all career-high marks for the versatile forward, who commanded a seven-year, $22.05 million deal with the Lightning in July of 2022.

Eetu Luostarinen FLA C
Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Fiery effort in Game 4
9h agoLuostarinen supplied an assist and five hits in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning for Game 4 of the conference quarterfinals.
We'd be surprised if Luostarinen is ever the first player to come to mind when thinking about the Panthers roster, but the 25-year-old winger has 16 hits in this opening series. Indeed, physicality is always encouraged by teams chasing the Stanley Cup, and it should be known that Luostarinen is by no means devoid of offense. The Finn averaged 35 points between the last two regular seasons in a middle-six role, making him a sneaky option for playoff pools.
-
Bo Horvat NYI C
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Two helpers in 2OT win
9h agoHorvat picked up two assists Saturday during a 3-2 double-overtime win over the Hurricanes in Game 4.
The 29-year-old helped set up both of Mathew Barzal's tallies on the afternoon, including the winner in the second OT period. Horvat has a goal and three points through four playoff games, but he could be due to light the lamp again -- he took five shots on net Saturday and has 15 in the series so far, tied with Kyle Palmieri for the team lead.
-
Mason Marchment DAL LW
Stars' Mason Marchment: Slated to be game-time call
3h agoMarchment (undisclosed) will a game-time decision Monday in Game 4 against Vegas, according to Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

Joel Kiviranta COL LW
Avalanche's Joel Kiviranta: Absent from warmups
4h agoKiviranta (undisclosed) did not take the ice for warmups and is out Sunday for Game 4 against Winnipeg, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Kiviranta left Friday's game multiple times with the injury. While he was able to return, the winger will ultimately be held out Sunday in Game 4. The 28-year-old Kiviranta had an assist through three games in the series after tallying three goals and nine points in 56 regular-season contests. Newly recalled Nikolai Kovalenko could make his NHL debut while Kiviranta is sidelined.
-
Nikita Kucherov TB RW
Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Three helpers in Saturday's win
8h agoKucherov recorded three assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Panthers in Game 4.
Two of the helpers came in the third period as the Lightning put the game away. Kucherov is still looking for his first goal of the postseason, but he's found the scoresheet in all four contests so far while collecting six assists. He may need to come up big again in Game 5 on Monday if Tampa Bay is going to avoid elimination again.
-
Brandon Hagel TB LW
Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Three points in Game 4
8h agoHagel scored two goals, one shorthanded and the other the game-winner, and added a power-play assist Saturday in a 6-3 victory over the Panthers in Game 4.
After setting up Steven Stamkos for the game's opening tally midway through the first period, Hagel followed with his own goal a few minutes later before giving the Lightning a 4-1 lead in the second. The 25-year-old had managed only one goal and zero assists through the first three games of the series, and his offensive eruption helped Tampa Bay avoid a first-round sweep. Hagel will look to stay locked in Monday for Game 5.
-
Matthew Tkachuk FLA LW
Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk: Two helpers in Game 4 loss
9h agoTkachuk collected two assists Saturday during a 6-3 loss to the Lightning in Game 4.
Both helpers came in the second period as the Panthers tried to rally from an early 3-0 deficit, to no avail. Tkachuk has been outstanding to begin the postseason, and he leads Florida with seven points (three goals, four assists) through four games. He'll look to extend his active point streak to eight games Monday in Game 5, and lead his team into the second round.
-
Evgenii Dadonov DAL RW
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Registers helper
15h agoDadonov notched an assist and blocked three shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3.
Dadonov earned his first point in four games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The winger has mainly played in a bottom-six role, though he was promoted to the third line in Game 3 due to the absences of Mason Marchment (undisclosed) and Radek Faksa (undisclosed). Dadonov produced 23 points in 51 regular-season outings, so he may be able to add a little depth scoring.

Nicolas Hague LV D
Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Still not skating
2h agoHague (lower body) isn't expected to play Monday in Game 4 versus Dallas, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Haydn Fleury TB D
Lightning's Haydn Fleury: Available to play
4h agoFleury (undisclosed) will be available to return to the lineup in Game 5 against Florida on Monday, according to Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida.
Fleury sat out the final five games of the regular season and the first four games of the playoffs after colliding with a referee against Pittsburgh on April 6. Despite being an option for Monday's matchup, Fleury may serve as a healthy scratch following Tampa Bay's 6-3 win over the Panthers on Saturday.
-
Darren Raddysh TB D
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Deemed day-to-day
4h agoRaddysh (undisclosed) is listed as day-to-day, per Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida.
Raddysh didn't play Saturday in Game 4 after averaging 17:06 of ice time in the series' first three games. Emil Lilleberg and Max Crozier will likely fill out Tampa Bay's bottom pairing if Raddysh can't play Monday in Game 5.
-
Brenden Dillon WPG D
Jets' Brenden Dillon: Out Sunday
6h agoDillon (hand) won't play Sunday against the Avalanche, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
While Dillon has been ruled out for Game 4, there's a chance he could return Tuesday when the Jets return home for Game 5. Still, it's a tough blow for Winnipeg -- the veteran blueliner had three assists through the first three games of the series. Logan Stanley is expected to work on the second pairing in Dillon's absence.
-
Vincent Iorio WAS D
Capitals' Vincent Iorio: Won't play Sunday
7h agoIorio (upper body) won't play Sunday in Game 4 against the Rangers, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Iorio stayed out late with Washington's expected scratches after participating in the morning skate in a non-contact capacity. He will miss his third straight outing due to an injury he sustained in the team's playoff opener last Sunday. However, the Capitals will get some reinforcements on the blue line because Rasmus Sandin (upper body) and Nick Jensen (upper body) are set to return to the lineup.
-
Nick Jensen WAS D
Capitals' Nick Jensen: Probable for Game 4
7h agoJensen (upper body) will be a game-time call, but he's trending towards playing Sunday against the Rangers, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Jensen has yet to suit up in the series after missing Washington's final two regular-season games with an upper-body injury. Jensen's return would provide an important boost to the Caps' defensive corps, with Trevor van Riemsdyk (upper body) ruled out. The 33-year-old Jensen had a goal, 14 points and 123 blocked shots in 78 games this year.

Kings' David Rittich: Starting Sunday
4h agoRittich will guard the home net Sunday in Game 4 against the Oilers, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
The Kings will turn to Rittich in net for Game 4 after Cam Talbot struggled to an .861 save percentage through the first three games in the series.
