Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Non-factor for new team
Penny finished the season with 11 carries for 33 yards in three regular-season games, adding one catch for five yards.
Penny entered the season with a fair amount of hype, as he had a potentially large share of the carries for a productive offense available to him if he could finally stay healthy. Injuries were in fact not a problem for Penny this season, but rather than competing for the No. 1 job, he spent the year as the Eagles' fourth running back and was a healthy scratch in all but three games.

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Season-high six carries
Penny was more involved than he had been all season for the Eagles on Sunday but managed a modest 16 yards on six carries at the Giants.
Penny's signing generated some intrigue over the offseason, with the thought that a change of scenery could help the oft-injured running back. Instead, he was almost a complete non-factor, seeing the field for only 30 offensive snaps all season. Twenty of those came Week 18, with D'Andre Swift out due to illness and the Eagles resting several starters in the second half.

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Stuck on sidelines
Penny did not see the field in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.
The Eagles had four active running backs in Sunday's game, but neither Penny nor Boston Scott received a single offensive snap. Penny has appeared in only two games all season, carrying the ball five times for 17 yards.

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Surprise active in Week 17
Penny is active for just the third time this season for Sunday's Week 17 clash against the Cardinals, Zach Berman of AllPhly.com reports.
Penny will presumably serve as a depth back behind D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell and also slot in as the backup kick returner, per Berman. The 2018 first-round pick of the Seahawks has logged just five touches all season, but with the Eagles heavily favored and facing a Cardinals defense allowing an NFL-high 147.0 rushing yards per game, Penny could have a rare opportunity to make an impact.

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Healthy scratch again
Penny (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Giants.
Penny once again enters gameday on the Eagles' inactives list, with Week 9 being the last time he took an offensive snap. The 2018 first-round pick continues forth on a disappointing campaign with Philadelphia, having only appeared in two games thus far this season.
