  • Devon Hall: Headed to Germany

Hall signed a contract Monday with German club Brose Bamberg.

Hall most recently played for the Thunder this summer at the NBA bubble in Orlando, but he became a free agent once his two-way deal expired at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season. The 25-year-old's contract with Brose Bamberg likely includes an opt-out clause that would allow him to pursue a return to the NBA if the right opportunity comes his way.

  • Thunder's Devon Hall: Seeing limited run in NBA bubble

Hall played two minutes Sunday in the Thunder's 121-103 win over the Wizards, contributing one assist.

After being waived by Oklahoma City in December, Hall re-signed with the club in late June on a two-way deal after Luguentz Dort was upgraded to a standard NBA contract. The 25-year-old hasn't been a regular part of coach Billy Donovan's rotation during the NBA season restart in Orlando, but Hall has appeared in each of the last three games, all of which have been blowouts. The Thunder will be down six players for the second half of a back-to-back set Monday against the Suns, so Hall could be in store for his most significant playing time to date off the bench.

The 24-year-old has continued to collect rebounds at a steady rate, averaging 6.0 per contest. The Blue have relied on his production while fellow guard Luguentz Dort recovers from a knee injury. It's unclear how much time Dort will miss, but Hall may continue to see an uptick in usage until his teammate returns.

Hall tallied two points (0-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and five assists across 30 minutes during Saturday's G League contest against Texas.

Hall failed to hit a shot from the field, finding his only bucket at the charity stripe. His seven boards and five assists helped salvage his stat line, but Hall's minus-21 net rating was indicative of his failure to contribute in a positive fashion in this one.

  • Devon Hall: Sinks game-winning shot

Hall finished with eight points (3-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists, a steal and a blocked shot across 27 minutes during Friday's 69-68 win over Croatia in the consolation bracket of the Las Vegas Summer League

Hall found himself in a mismatch in the paint but lofted above Croatia's interior to drop the game-winnier. With Russell Westbrook's departure, the moment may have arrived for the Virginia product to make an impact for the Thunder. While Chris Paul will direct the offense, they find themselves thin in the frontcourt. Hall has a good chance to receive a return invite to the G-League at the bare minimum.
