Mariners' Luis Castillo: Stays consistent versus Astros
Castillo did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Astros, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six in six innings.
Castillo remains winless over his last three starts but has consistently been putting up solid results. He's now two earned runs or fewer in nine straight starts dating back to April 14 and eight of those starts have gone at least six innings. His lone mistake on the evening was serving up a two-run homer to Alex Bregman in the fourth to give the Astros a 2-1 lead. He's now given up five home runs over his last four starts. Castillo owns a 3.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 75:19 K:BB in 71.1 innings and will face the Angels at home his next time on the mound.

Mariners' Luis Castillo: Falls to Yankees
Castillo (4-6) took the loss Thursday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out three.

The loss snapped a stretch of seven straight quality starts for Castillo -- he'd posted a 2.01 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 3.31 this season with a 1.21 WHIP and 69:18 K:BB over 65.1 innings. Castillo's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Astros in his next start.

Mariners' Luis Castillo: Mixed bag in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Saturday in Baltimore, permitting two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out two.
The four walks were a season high and the two strikeouts were by far a season low for Castillo. He still managed a seventh straight quality start, keeping his team in it before the Mariners' offense rallied late. It marks the first no-decision of the season for Castillo, who is just 4-5 despite a 3.28 ERA, including a 2.01 mark across his last seven outings.

Mariners' Luis Castillo: Down's A's for fourth win
Castillo (4-5) picked up the win over the Athletics on Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out eight over six innings.
Both runs allowed by Castillo came via the long ball, with Max Schuemann and Abraham Toro taking him deep in consecutive innings. Aside from that, Castillo limited the damage to just base hits and tossed his sixth straight quality start, which now puts him in a tie for fifth-most in baseball. Castillo now owns a 3.31 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 64:11 K:BB in 54.1 innings and lines up to face the Orioles on the road next weekend.
