Hodges sustained a patella injury in the Jaguars' second preseason game against the Lions on Aug. 19 and missed the rest of training camp. The 2023 seventh-round pick out of Appalachian State will now be forced to sit out for the first four games of the season.

Hodges suffered the injury in the team's preseason win over the Lions on Saturday. Although a timetable for his return is still not in place, it seems safe to say the rookie seventh-round selection is in jeopardy of missing the season opener against the Colts, assuming he does make the team's final 53-man roster.

Hodges (knee) is believed to be dealing with a patellar injury, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
Hodges went down with a knee injury in Saturday's 25-7 preseason win over the Lions, and head coach Doug Pederson said after the game that Hodges likely injured his patellar tendon. If that's the case, the offensive lineman could be forced to miss most, if not all, of the 2023 campaign.

Hodges suffered a knee injury in Saturday's preseason game against Detroit and is questionable to return, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Hodges was rolled up on during a Jacksonville field-goal attempt and was subsequently helped off the field before being taken away on a cart with his knee in a brace. It appears unlikely that he'll be able to return to the contest, though he's initially being listed as questionable. The rookie has been expected to fill a reserve role on the Jaguars' offensive line.
