  • Jets' Colby Suits: Signs with Jets

Suits signed with the Jets on Monday as an undrafted free agent, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

The quarterback tried out for the team during its rookie minicamp. Suits completed 56 percent of his passes and recorded 1,919 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2023 with Houston Christian. The Jets signed Tyrod Taylor in March to be Aaron Rodgers' backup.

  • Jets' Andrew Peasley: Lands in New York

Peasley signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent Monday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official site report.

The quarterback played his last two collegiate seasons at Wyoming and recorded a 17-9 record to go along with 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Peasley also played four years at Utah State and made two starts.

  • Jets' Lincoln Sefcik: Inks deal with Jets

The Jets signed Sefcik on Friday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official site report.

Sefcik's 2023 season at South Alabama was cut short by injuries after he caught 17 passes for 165 yards in nine games, but the Jets apparently saw enough to take a flier on him as an undrafted free agent. The team is quite thin at tight end going into 2024.

  • Jets' Peewee Jarrett: Joining Gang Green

The Jets signed Jarrett on Friday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official site report.

Jarrett threw for 2,989 yards, 32 touchdowns and seven interceptions at West Florida in 2023. He's a long shot to earn the backup job behind Aaron Rodgers considering the Jets also signed Tyrod Taylor back in March.

  • Jets' Tyler Harrell: Joins Jets

The Jets signed Harrell on Friday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official site report.

Harrell totaled four receptions for 45 yards as a sixth-year senior at Miami in 2023. The Jets are thin at wide receiver going into 2024, so he could be in the competition for the last few spots on their final depth chart.

  • Jets' Jordan Travis: Should be ready for training camp

Travis, who is bouncing back from an ankle injury that he suffered last November, should be cleared for training camp, per coach Robert Saleh, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.

At this stage, Travis -- who the Jets took in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft -- continues to rebound from ankle surgery, with Cimini noting that the young QB was spotted riding a stationary bike during part of the practice that took place Friday at the start of the team's rookie minicamp. Early on in his pro career, Travis is slated to work behind the veteran duo of Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) and Tyrod Taylor, but when healthy, the Florida State product profiles as dual-threat signal-caller with intriguing playmaking ability for the Jets to develop.

  • Jets' Aaron Rodgers: Won't be limited in OTAs

According to coach Robert Saleh, Rodgers will have "no restrictions" when the Jets begin their OTA practices May 20, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.

After suffering a torn left Achilles four snaps into his first season with the Jets, Rodgers underwent surgery to address the issue Sept. 14. While the veteran signal-caller didn't see any game action prior to the conclusion of the 2023 campaign, he did practice on a limited basis down the stretch. With that in mind, it's not surprising that the 40-year-old is on track to practice in full during phase three of New York's OTAs later this month. When it comes to his supporting cast this coming season, Tyrod Taylor is slated to serve as the team's No. 2 QB, top running back Breece Hall is further removed from the ACL tear that derailed his 2022 season, and the team's wideout corps has been fortified by free-agent addition Mike Williams (knee) and 2024 third-rounder Malachi Corley. Still, Rodgers' fantasy upside hinges on whether he's able to avoid any setbacks as he looks to regain his pre-injury form.
