Brown has a goal and an assist over the last two games, his first time getting on the scoresheet in consecutive contests in all of 2023-24. The veteran winger is up to three points, six shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through nine playoff outings. Brown's recently solid play has helped him maintain a spot in the lineup over Corey Perry.... See More ... See Less

Oilers' Connor Brown: Nets lone goal in loss
Brown scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Stars in Game 2. Brown tallied just 44 seconds after Jamie Benn's opening tally in the first period, tying the game at 1-1. The Oilers' offense couldn't solve Jake Oettinger again. Brown's goal was his first tally and second point in eight playoff appearances. He's added five shots on net, five hits, four PIM and a plus-2 rating while filling a bottom-six role with minimal ice time.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Puts up helper
Brown logged an assist in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks in Game 5. The helper was Brown's first point in four playoff contests, and he's added two hits and a plus-1 rating. The 30-year-old has been limited to fourth-line minutes, which has given him few chances to contribute. Brown could be at risk of losing his spot in the lineup once Adam Henrique (ankle) is able to return.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Produces assist in loss
Brown logged an assist in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Canucks. Brown has three points over his last seven contests despite still seeing fourth-line minutes. The winger is at 12 points, 105 shots on net, 30 hits and a minus-6 rating through 68 outings overall. Brown's lack of offense has kept him out of the equation for fantasy for most of the season, but he could be a solid DFS budget target for Monday's game versus the Sharks.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Nabs helper Monday
Brown posted an assist in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues. Brown set up a Mattias Ekholm goal in the first period. The 30-year-old Brown was scratched from Saturday's win over the Ducks, but he's been playing fairly regularly even with the Oilers' efforts to beef up their depth at the trade deadline. The winger has five points over his last eight games, accounting for half of his offense through 62 appearances on the year.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Scores in Tuesday's win
Brown scored a goal on two shots and added four PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Jets. Brown has three goals and an assist over his last six games, by far his best stretch of the season. His recent improvements have helped him maintain a fourth-line spot in the lineup, while Derek Ryan and Sam Carrick have competed for the last forward spot. Brown is at nine points, 95 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 60 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Two more points in win
Brown tallied a goal and an assist in Thursday's 8-3 victory over the Sabres. Both of Brown's points came late in the third period Thursday, setting up a Ryan McLeod tally before extending Edmonton's lead to 8-3 with just nine seconds remaining in the contest. After going 54 games without a goal to start the season, Brown now has two in his last three contests. He's up to eight points (two goals, six assists) through 57 games while skating primarily in a fourth-line role.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Nets first goal this season
Brown scored a goal on his lone shot in Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Capitals. Brown finally got into the goal column in Wednesday night's victory, deflecting an Evander Kane feed past Darcy Kuemper in the third period for his first tally in 55 games with Edmonton. It's certainly been a disappointing campaign for the 30-year-old Brown -- he came into the contest with just one point in his previous 18 games. He now has six points (one goal, five assists) on the campaign while working primarily on the OIlers' third line.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Ends long slump with helper
Brown notched an assist in Monday's 4-2 win over the Kings. Brown entered Monday on an 11-game point drought. He ended the slump when he set up Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for an insurance marker in the third period. Brown has five assists, 79 shots on net and a minus-9 rating over 48 appearances this season. He's still sticking in the lineup over Sam Gagner, but Brown's fourth-line role makes him a non-factor in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Picks up first point of month
Brown notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets. Brown's helper was his first point in nine games in January. He created a rebound for Dylan Holloway to bury for the Oilers' fourth goal. Brown is unlikely to see more than bottom-six usage until his offense is more reliable. For the season, the winger has just four assists with 65 shots on net and a minus-8 rating over 36 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Picks up helper in win
Brown posted an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Ducks. Brown has a pair of helpers over his last three games, though he remains in a bottom-six role. The winger helped out on the first of Warren Foegele's two tallies in the second period. Brown's up to three assists over 27 contests this season, and he's added 43 shots on net and a minus-8 rating. Fantasy managers who selected him as a sleeper for his junior history with Connor McDavid can let Brown go if they haven't already found a more productive depth forward.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Snaps drought
Brown provided an assist and fired three shots on goal in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Sharks. Brown went 10 games without a point prior to Thursday, which also included a one-game absence as a healthy scratch. The 29-year-old winger, who missed nearly all of last season with an ACL injury, has not found his scoring touch in his first year with the Oilers. He's at two assists, 38 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 25 appearances. Brown may lose his place in the lineup once Sam Gagner (undisclosed) and Dylan Holloway (lower body) are able to return.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Registers assist in win
Brown produced an assist in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Ducks. Brown set up Evander Kane's first-period tally. The helper was Brown's first point of the season, though he missed six games with a lower-body injury that may have been hampering him before his absence. Brown has contributed 17 shots on net, 10 hits and a minus-6 rating through 14 appearances, and while he's in a top-six role, fantasy managers may want to wait for his offense to steady before trusting Brown on their rosters.... Oilers' Connor Brown: Back in action Saturday
Brown (groin) will return to the lineup Saturday in Tampa Bay, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton. Brown has sat out the last five games, but he'll get a big assignment Saturday, as he'll start the game alongside Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on the top line. The Oilers changed coaches during Brown's absence and his (and McDavid's) former junior coach, Kris Knoblauch, has taken over the reins behind the Edmonton bench. Brown has yet to pick up a point in nine games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Still sidelined against Kraken
Brown (knee) will not be available versus Seattle on Wednesday, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports. Brown will be out of action for his sixth straight game due to his lingering knee problem. Prior to getting hurt, the 29-year-old winger wasn't exactly lighting it up, having failed to record a point in nine games to open the season. The Toronto native was averaging 1:05 of ice time with the man advantage over that stretch but was still unable to write his name on the scoresheet.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Out Monday
Brown (undisclosed) will not suit up Monday against the Islanders, per the NHL's media site. The 29-year-old was held without a point in his first nine games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Won't play Saturday
Brown (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's game against Seattle, according to Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic. Brown has no points, a minus-5 rating, 13 shots and seven hits in nine contests this season. He was last in the lineup Nov. 2 but did describe himself as day-to-day Thursday, so Brown might still be an option Monday versus the Islanders.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Remains day-to-day
Brown (undisclosed) described himself as day-to-day Thursday and is expected to miss the evening's game against San Jose, per Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic. It will be Edmonton's third straight game without Brown. He did skate on his own Thursday, which might indicate that he's getting closer to rejoining the lineup. His next opportunity to do so will arrive Saturday versus Seattle.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Unlikely to play Thursday
Brown (undisclosed) is skating on his own Thursday, according to Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic. Brown has missed the last two games and is not skating with the main group of Oilers. He has yet to pick up a point in nine games with the Oilers this season, an extremely disappointing start for a player that many had high hopes for in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Connor Brown: Late scratch Saturday
