The Bengals signed Stone to a two-year, $15 million contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. After spending his first four seasons in Baltimore, Stone will stay in the division by joining the Bengals' defense. He is coming off a career-best campaign that saw him record 68 tackles (44 solo) and nine passes defensed, including seven interceptions. The 24-year-old projects to compete for free safety reps with Dax Hill in 2024.... See More ... See Less

Ravens' Geno Stone: Nabs seventh INT of 2023
Stone had a team-high eight tackles (six solo) and an interception in Sunday's 56-19 win over the Dolphins. Stone led the Ravens in tackles after being inserted into the starting free safety role for the injured Kyle Hamilton (knee). Stone made the most of it, as he played 100 percent of defensive snaps and picked off Tua Tagovailoa in the third quarter on a pass intended for Tyreek Hill. Stone is now up to seven interceptions on the year, which is the second most in the NFL behind DaRon Bland. With the Ravens already locked into the AFC's top seed, Stone could see extended playing time in Week 18 against the Steelers if Baltimore elects to sit Hamilton for a second straight week.... Stone has recorded an interception in the past two games and now has four total on the year. Ravens' Geno Stone: Baltimore adds in seventh round
The Ravens selected Stone in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 219th overall. Stone (5-foot-10, 207) was a useful player for Iowa but it's difficult to see how he sticks as more than a special teams type in the NFL. He didn't post much production at Iowa, and it's probably his lack of athleticism that caused that outcome (4.62-second 40, 33.5-inch vertical, 116-inch broad jump).... See More ... See Less
