Ramczyk (knee) won't be ready until at least training camp, head coach Dennis Allen said last week, John DeShazler of the Saints' official site reports. Ramczyk missed the team's final four games of the 2023 campaign and his status for the 2024 season remains up in the air. Allen stated Wednesday, "We're still waiting to see where he is - when we get probably to training camp will be the first time that we would even potentially see him." In his absence, Trevor Penning saw work with the first team at right tackle during OTAs.... See More ... See Less

Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Medically uncertain for 2024 season
Ramczyk (knee) may not be medically cleared to suit up for the 2024 campaign, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Coach Dennis Allen said Tuesday that Ramczyk's knee isn't responding as the Saints hoped, and that the team is unclear when the veteran right tackle will be cleared for action. The knee injury forced Ramczyk to miss the final four games of the 2023 season, and current backup Landon Young (knee) was a notable downgrade once plugged into the starting lineup. If Ramczyk's recovery does extend into the regular season, it will be a significant blow to New Orleans' offensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Shifts to IR
The Saints placed Ramczyk (knee) on injured reserve Saturday. Ramcyzk was unable to practice all week after missing the Saints' last three games with this knee issue, so it's no surprise that the All-Pro tackle has been shut down. Landon Young is expected to fill Ramczyk's void on New Orleans' offensive line over the next two weeks.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Won't play Thursday
Ramczyk (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Rams, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports. Ramczyk continues to deal with a lingering knee issue, which also kept him out for Week 15 against the Giants. The short week likely didn't do the veteran offensive tackle any favors in getting healthy enough to suit up for Week 16. Landon Young will be expected to get the start at right tackle in Ramczyk's absence.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Not playing Sunday
Ramczyk (knee) is inactive Sunday against the Giants. Ramczyk logged limited practices throughout the week and came into the day as questionable. Ultimately, the Wisconsin product won't be able to play Sunday, leaving Landon Young as the likely next man up at right tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Good to go Sunday
Ramczyk (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. The Wisconsin product was able to log full practice sessions both Thursday and Friday after missing the Saints' Week 6 loss to the Jaguars. Ramczyk is expected to reclaim his starting right tackle duties this Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Ruled out versus Jacksoville
Ramczyk (concussion) won't play against the Jaguars on Wednesday. Ramczyk suffered a concussion during last week's loss versus the Saints, which will now cause him to miss Thursday's game. The 2017 first-round pick will look to clear the concussion protocol ahead of next week's matchup with the Colts, and in the meantime Cesar Ruiz will start at right tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Saints' Ryan Ramczyk: Doesn't return Sunday
Ramczyk left Sunday's game against the Texans while being evaluated for a concussion and did not return, John Sigler of USA Today reports. Ramczyk left late in the fourth quarter and entered the league's concussion protocols, though the Saints haven't confirmed that he sustained a concussion. His exit caused Cesar Ruiz to shuffle to right tackle while rookie Nick Saldiveri slotted in at right guard. Ramcyzk wasn't the only offensive tackle to leave Sunday's game, as James Hurst was carted off with an ankle injury.... See More ... See Less
