With the summer transfer window closing on Thursday night, here's the latest news and notes from Tuesday.

Manchester City after Alexis Sanchez

The Citizens plan to pluck another Gunner away from London. According to ESPNFC, Manchester City will offer Raheem Sterling and cash to get Chilean international Alexis Sanchez, who hasn't looked very happy at the club in quite a while. The 28-year-old has been Arsenal's best player for the last few seasons but looks frustrated with the team's lack of success in the Premier League and in Europe.

Valued at around $100 million, it would likely take Sterling and more than $60 million for City to land Sanchez, who is out of contract next summer.

Liverpool get their man

Liverpool has agreed to a deal with RB Leipzig over the transfer of Naby Keita, the highly rated midfielder that has been on the Reds' radar for quite a while. The deal won't take place right away, but he'll move to Anfield on July 1, 2018, the club announced.

The Guinea international is one of the most highly rated young players in the world. The 22-year-old midfielder scored eight goals in 31 Bundesliga matches last season for the German club.

Chelsea to sign Ox

Here's another potential Gunner departure. ESPNFC reports that Chelsea has agreed on a fee with Arsenal for the transfer of midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 24-year-old England international, once looked at as one of the top talents in England, failed to provide consistent production for Arsenal despite showing flashes. Now he could provide depth at wing-back for the Blues and provide Arsene Wenger with some cash to spend.
