The impressive start to Boston's NFL career continued Thursday, with the rookie second-round pick leading the Browns in receiving yards and tying for runner-up status with Quinshon Judkins in targets. Boston has quickly amassed a 13-284-2 line on 22 targets through his first four career games, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 5 road matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Rotowire

The rookie second-rounder was held without a catch until the fourth quarter, when he caught 28- and 13-yard passes from Deshaun Watson before the duo connected on a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter to extend the Browns' lead to three points. Boston was unable to record a touchdown catch for a third-straight game, though he still finished Sunday's contest as the Browns' second-leading receiver behind tight end Harold Fannin (51). Boston, Fannin and rookie first-rounder KC Concepcion will continue to serve as Watson's top targets in the passing game, with Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond working in rotation. Browns' Denzel Boston: Week 3 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Boston is off to a great start in his first two NFL games with seven catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets against the Jaguars and Buccaneers. He should only continue to get better as the season goes on, and he could eventually become a starter in three-receiver leagues -- maybe even in Week 3. Deshaun Watson has played better than expected to start the season, and Boston is his big-play threat. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAAB.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Scores another long TD in upset win
Rotowire
Boston caught five of seven targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' 23-19 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Boston's big play was a 55-yard touchdown late in the third quarter to pull the Browns even with the Bucs at 16-16. The rookie wideout caught a deep crosser and spun off several would-be tackles and dashed to the end zone. It was Boston's second long touchdown in as many weeks to begin his pro career. Through two games, the second-round pick has seven catches for 154 yards and two scores on 11 targets. He's shaping up as a boom-or-bust fantasy WR4 headed into next Sunday's home date with the Panthers.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Hauls in 46-yard TD in debut
Rotowire
Boston caught two passes on four targets for 59 yards and a touchdown during the Browns' 34-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
It wasn't until the third play of the fourth quarter that Boston made his first NFL catch, a 13-yard pass from Deshaun Watson, before the duo connected on a 46-yard touchdown pass on the first play following the two-minute warning. Boston finished Sunday's game as the Browns' leader in receiving yards while fellow rookie KC Concepcion led the team in catches (four) and targets (five). There figures to be some growing pains for the Browns' offense this season given the amount of young talent. Cleveland will stay on the road for a Week 2 matchup against Tampa Bay on Sept. 20.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Goes untargeted in second preseason game
Rotowire
Boston went without a target while playing 11 snaps on offense Saturday in the Browns' 31-7 preseason loss to the Bills.
After drawing two targets in the Browns' preseason opener a week earlier against the Bears and connecting with Deshaun Watson on a nifty 15-yard catch and run, Boston was held quiet in his limited snaps during the second exhibition game. Notably, Jerry Jeudy and KC Concepcion were both rested Saturday while Boston played, which suggests that the rookie second-round pick out of Washington currently sits no higher than third on the depth chart.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Will start working with starters
Rotowire
Coach Todd Monken said Monday that Boston will start working with the first-team offense in practice this week, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Specifically, Monken said Boston will work as the "boundary" receiver on the outside, allowing Jerry Jeudy to move around the formation more. By all accounts, Boston has been a standout at Browns camp and has earned the increased reps with the starters. His insertion with the ones is likely to hurt Cedric Tillman the most, as Tillman is a holdover from the previous coaching staff and has been mentioned in trade rumors this offseason. Boston appears to be a riser up fantasy draft boards headed into the preseason.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Standing out at camp
Rotowire
Boston and KC Concepcion have made a strong impression at training camp, looking like the "best receivers on the field," according to SI.com's Nick Pedone.
It's only one week into training camp, and Cleveland's veteran wide receivers aren't exactly an impressive bunch. Still, it's better to hear this than the opposite if you're invested in Boston's success. The rookie second-round pick reportedly has been particularly impressive at hauling in jump balls and other contested catches, reflecting the positives from his pre-draft scouting report. It remains to be seen how much playing time Boston and Concepcion get come Week 1.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Had impressive spring
Rotowire
According to Zac Jackson of The Athletic, Boston "might have been the most impressive offensive player in the (Browns') spring sessions."
Once training camp gets going next month, the pecking order in the team's revamped WR corps will start to become clearer. While Jerry Jeudy remains Cleveland's No. 1 option at the position, Boston -- who was the 39th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft -- has a chance to make an immediate mark as an outside receiver, while fellow rookie KC Concepcion (24th overall choice) figures to line up all over the formation. Also in the mix are Cedric Tillman, Isaiah Bond and Tylan Wallace, but a strong summer on Boston's part could help him earn enough playing time out of the gate to yield fantasy dividends in deeper formats.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Picked by Browns
Rotowire
The Browns selected Boston in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 39th overall.
Boston (6-foot-4, 212 pounds) has the build to impose physicality and reach from the boundary, where he did big damage especially as a downfield and red-zone jump-ball target at Washington. That Boston declined to run a 40-yard dash before the draft invites the suspicion that he might lack the long speed to regularly push downfield at the NFL level, but if he can keep winning on jump balls in the intermediate and end zone then that might be enough for Boston to prove a quality WR2 in the NFL. It might not be easy for Boston to immediately displace Cedric Tillman as the primary big wideout in Cleveland, but in the long term it's expected that Boston and 24th overall pick KC Concepcion should top the Browns' depth chart at wideout.
