Saints' Oscar Delp: Not targeted despite expanded role
Rotowire
Delp was not targeted during Monday's 45-24 loss versus the Falcons.
Delp did record a solo tackle in punt coverage after New Orleans went three-and-out on its first offensive series, but that was his only mark on the stat sheet in Week 4. On a positive note, he was second on the team in snaps at tight end (23) behind veteran Juwan Johnson (53) with Noah Fant (abdomen) sidelined. His involvement in Week 5 versus the Ravens will likely depend on the availability of Fant.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Held to just one catch in Week 2
Rotowire
Delp gathered in his only target for eight yards during Sunday's 24-17 victory over the Ravens.
Delp didn't suit up for the 31-30 overtime loss to Detroit in Week 1 due to a hamstring issue, though he was on the field for Sunday's 24-17 upset win over Baltimore. However, despite the rookie's availability in Week 2, he appeared in just nine of the Saints' 68 offensive snaps, catching his only target for eight yards, while logging six snaps on special teams. Although Delp could see more action moving ahead, it doesn't appear as if he will be more involved than Noah Fant and Juwan Johnson anytime soon.

Saints' Oscar Delp: No injury designation for Week 2
Rotowire
Delp (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Delp has been battling a hamstring injury, keeping him off the field for the 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1. He was limited during Wednesday and Thursday's practices, though after logging a full session Friday, he now has the green light to suit up for the Week 2 meeting with Baltimore. While it's unknown how much action Delp will see against the Ravens, he could be more involved than Noah Fant behind Juwan Johnson (illness).

Saints' Oscar Delp: Still not practicing Thursday
Rotowire
Delp (hamstring) did not participate at practice Thursday.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Absent on Wednesday
Rotowire
Delp (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Delp likely sustained his injury during the Saints' second preseason game against the Rams. The tight end has not practiced since sustaining the injury and likely won't suit up for the Week 1 contest against the Lions. If Delp can quickly increase his practice participation before Friday, he could change his fate.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Finds end zone in preseason opener
Rotowire
Delp caught three of six targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss to Jacksonville.
Delp's touchdown came on a pass from Zach Wilson on a play from the 1-yard line. It wasn't all roses for the rookie tight end, however, as he also had multiple drops. Delp is looking to cement a spot as the Saints' No. 3 tight end behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant, and his TD should help his case despite the uneven performance.
