Browns' Hunter Thedford: Inks deal with Cleveland
The Browns signed Thedford (undisclosed) on Monday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Thedford was waived by the Broncos at the end of May with an injury settlement, but he appears to be healthy after presumably passing a physical before signing a new deal with Cleveland. The 25-year-old has battled injuries since joining the league as an undrafted free agent in 2021, and he's yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.

Hunter Thedford: Let go with injury
The Broncos waived Thedford (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Thedford was previously waived by the Lions in August of 2021, and he did not ink another contract elsewhere until signing with Denver in January. The exact nature of the 26-year-old's injury is still unknown, leaving it unclear when or if he'll be healthy enough to earn a new contract this offseason.

Detroit didn't list an injury designation in the transaction, so it appears that Thedford has recovered from the undisclosed issue that forced him to miss some time in late July. The former defensive end, now turned tight end, will look for a chance elsewhere in the league.
