Giants' Jordan Chunn: Inks futures deal with Giants
Chunn signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants on Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The 25-year-old was on the Cowboys' practice squad in 2019 but was unable to latch on with a new team after being cut in July. Chunn will receive an opportunity with a division rival and go through the offseason program with the Giants.

Jordan Chunn: Cut by Dallas
The Cowboys have released Chunn (knee) with a non-football injury designation, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Chunn reportedly has been dealing with a minor knee injury, one that he suffered while away from the team. The 2018 UDFA made one appearance for the Cowboys last season and also spent time on the practice squad. Dallas is now left with Rico Dowdle and Darius Anderson competing for the No. 3 halfback spot, though there's still time to add a body or two before training camp.

Chunn signed a reserve/future contract with the Cowboys on Monday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Chunn spent the majority of the 2019 season on the Cowboys' practice squad. He spent one game on the active roster but only played on special teams. With a full offseason in Dallas, the Troy-product will look to land a spot on the 53-man roster next season.

Chunn was released from the team on cut-down day, but he was re-signed on Monday as the Cowboys feared Ezekiel Elliott wouldn't return for Week 1. Chunn carried the ball seven times for 25 yards and caught both of his targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over the Texans.
The second-year back out of Troy spent all of 2018 on the practice squad, and Chunn showed why the Cowboys have kept him around with an impressive 12-yard TD catch in the third quarter Saturday. If Ezekiel Elliott's holdout extends into the regular season, there could be an opening for a third RB behind Tony Pollard and Alfred Morris on the initial 53-man roster, but Chunn would still have to beat out seventh-round pick Mike Weber, as well as the athletic Darius Jackson, to claim it.
