Rams' Aaron Donald: Ruled out for Week 4
Donald (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Donald didn't practice at all this week and will miss his second game of the season after he sat out the Week 1 opener in Australia due to conditioning issues. With both Donald and Myles Garrett (knee) set to miss this one Sunday, the Rams' already-woeful pass rush figures to struggle to generate pressure against Jalen Hurts.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Remains out of practice Thursday
Donald (back) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Donald is working through some back soreness, and it's unclear if he'll be able to suit up Sunday against the Eagles. Braden Fiske would be in line for heavy snaps if Donald is unable to play.

Rams' Aaron Donald: DNP due to back injury
Donald (back) did not practice Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Sean McVay said Donald has a sore back. Through two games this season, Donald has posted just four tackles (one solo) and one quarterback hit on 54.4 percent of the defensive snaps. Without Myles Garrett (knee) in the lineup, Donald is garnering a ton of attention from opposing offensive lines.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Active for Week 2
Donald is active for Monday's game against the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
It was anticipated that Donald would suit up Monday, and he will officially do so for the first time since January of 2024. Donald is expected to be limited to around 30 snaps, so while he will be in uniform it appears he will not handle a full workload.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Set for limited snaps in return
Donald is expected to be limited to around 30 snaps in his season debut against the Giants on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Slated to play in his first NFL game since Jan. 14, 2024, the 35-year-old Donald will be eased back into the mix with a more limited workload than what he's typically handled in the past. Even after a two-year layoff from game action, the Rams are confident that the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year can still be a difference maker along the defensive line. The addition of Donald is a welcome development for the Rams after star edge rusher Myles Garrett (knee) was placed on injured reserve following the season-opening loss to the 49ers in Australia.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Will return Monday night
Coach Sean McVay confirmed Saturday that Donald is expected to play Monday versus the Giants, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports. "If he said it, he's going," McVay noted. "Whatever Aaron says, I support."
Donald spoke to the media Friday, telling Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com, "That's the plan," when asked if he'll make his season debut Monday and thereby see his first game action since the 2023 season. With McVay supporting such a notion, Donald's status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. At 35 years old, Donald's workload remains to be seen, but considering the D-line depth that the Rams boast, he could be eased in for his initial 2026 appearance.

Rams' Aaron Donald: Expects to play Monday
Donald told Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com on Friday, "That's the plan," when asked if he'll play Monday against the Giants.
Donald made his long-awaited return to the Rams on Aug. 30, but the Rams took advantage of a roster exemption from the NFL and didn't have him travel with the team for a Week 1 matchup with the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia. The exemption was lifted on Sept. 11, and he hasn't been included on L.A.'s Week 2 injury report, indicating that he's in the clear to make his first appearance since the 2023 campaign. Donald's comment Friday confirms that he expects to play.
