Another veteran linebacker will test the open market. A day after the Cardinals parted ways with Jordan Hicks, the Rams have decided not to tender Troy Reeder, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Reeder made 10 starts last season for the Super Bowl champions.

A restricted free agent, Reeder set career highs with 91 tackles and two interceptions in 17 games last season. He also recorded two sacks during the regular season while helping the Rams secure the AFC West division title. In three seasons with Los Angeles, Reeder recorded 230 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and eight passes defended.

The 27-year-old veteran started in each of the Rams' first three playoff games. He had eight tackles and six solo stops in the Rams' win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Reeder did not start during Super Bowl LVI, but he did play in 80% of the team's special teams snaps during Los Angeles' 23-20 win over the Bengals

Reeder enters the open market with less than a week remaining before the official start of free agency. Players can begin speaking with teams at noon ET on March 14; teams can sign players starting at 4 p.m. ET on March 16.
