Shaquille O'Neal may be retired, but when it comes to basketball he can still dominate. Just ask the recently unretired Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski. The two competed in a virtual game of HORSE to benefit social justice charities on Sunday and the game came to a premature conclusion. That's because O'Neal displayed his power and ended up breaking the rim that the two stars were playing on.

O'Neal lobbed the ball off the backboard to himself and deposited a one-handed slam dunk that sent the rim flying.

O'Neal and Gronkowski took part in a series of challenges to earn money for their respective charities. The former Los Angeles Lakers star was playing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America while Gronkowski was playing for the NAACP. The two faced off in challenges that included a lip-sync battle, jousting, a sports obstacle course, a grilling challenge, a hot wing eating challenge, a sports trivia competition and the HORSE game.

It should come as no surprise that O'Neal is still an incredible powerful human being. He took down a few NBA regulation size rims (and backboards) during in his day. In a game against the New Jersey Nets in 1993, the then-Orlando Magic big man deposited a baseline dunk and ended up pulling the entire stanchion down.
