Strange has drawn three straight starts at tight end with Evan Engram (hamstring) sidelined, and has been the busier pass-catcher over Luke Farrell (zero catches, one target versus Houston). In that span, Strange has caught eight of 14 targets for 96 yards and one score. If Engram is able to get back on the field against the Colts in Week 5, however, Strange figures to return to a depth role.
In two games without Evan Engram, Strange has a 15% target share, and he ranks as a top-10 tight end with 9.4 PPR FPPG. Watch the injury report closely, but if Engram is out again, Strange is a fine streamer.

In Week 2 against Cleveland with Engram out, Strange had six targets from Trevor Lawrence and caught three passes for 65 yards. Jacksonville will likely be chasing points in this game, and Lawrence will need reliable targets. He seems to like Strange, and he's worth using as a flier in deeper leagues in place of Engram.

Strange caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games as a rookie last year, and he's again opened 2024 in a minor role.
Strange finished the season with five catches on nine targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games.
The rookie second-round pick's first year in the NFL wasn't a particularly notable one, as he worked as Jacksonville's No. 3 tight end. Both Evan Engram and Luke Farrell remain under contract in 2024, but the latter is primarily a blocking tight end. Given the draft capital used to acquire Strange, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him move into a larger role next year.
