Lewis agreed to terms on a four-year, $53 million contract with the Panthers on Monday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports. Lewis, a former third-round pick, missed just three games during his four-year tenure in Carolina. The 26-year-old is now in line to protect Bryce Young for the foreseeable future.... See More ... Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Available Sunday
Lewis (ankle) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Arizona, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Lewis was carted off the field after suffering an ankle injury during Seattle's Week 4 win over the Giants, and it now seems as if he's had enough time to move past the issue. The 26-year-old guard was able to fully participate in Friday's practice, and he's good to go this coming Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Not playing Sunday
Lewis (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Bengals. Lewis was listed as doubtful Friday after not logging a practice session all week. He sustained an ankle injury in Week 4 against the Giants and was carted off the field. Ben Brown is set to start at left guard in Lewis' absence.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Doubtful Sunday
Lewis (ankle) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's game against Cincinnati, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lewis is in jeopardy of missing his first game this season, as he didn't participate in practice all week after getting carted off the field with an ankle injury during Seattle's Week 4 win over New York. The 26-year-old will likely miss this coming Sunday's affair, which makes Ben Brown the next man up at left guard.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Exits game with leg injury
Lewis suffered a left lower-leg injury and was carted off the field Monday versus the Giants, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Considering he left on a cart, the injury Lewis suffered seems to be at least relatively significant. In his absence, Olusegun Oluwatimi has entered the game at center while Evan Brown has shifted over to left guard.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Questionable for season opener
Lewis (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Rams, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. The severity of the shoulder issue Lewis is dealing with is unclear at this time, so it's not easy to get a pulse on whether he's likely to play in Week 1. If he can't, rookie fourth-rounder Anthony Bradford could draw a start at guard Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Back at practice
Lewis is practicing Monday after sitting out Sunday with an illness, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. The left guard's illness was not considered serious, and he was expected to return this week. The 2020 third-round pick has started all 45 games he's played in over three seasons. Lewis is projected to be Seattle's starting left guard in 2023.... See More ... See Less -
Seahawks' Damien Lewis: Doesn't practice Sunday
Lewis didn't practice Sunday due to an illness, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Although Lewis was held out of Sunday's practice, it wouldn't be surprising to see him return to the field in the coming days. It seems unlikely that his illness will prevent him from suiting up for the preseason opener against Minnesota on Aug. 10.... See More ... See Less
