The Colts waived Davis (shoulder) with an injury designation Tuesday.
Davis picked up a shoulder injury during Sunday's exhibition matchup against the Panthers, after logging two catches for 29 yards. Assuming he goes unclaimed on waivers, Davis will revert to Indianapolis' injured reserve list.
