Eason (rest) will not play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Pelicans, Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston reports.
According to coach Ime Udoka, this is a planned maintenance day for Eason. The forward will instead play Thursday against the Spurs in another exhibition.
