Texas Tech will have black Lone Star Pride uniforms vs. Texas

Texas Tech players began sharing photos of the Lone Star Pride uniforms for Saturday's game against in-state rival Texas.

Texas Tech has an updated version of the "Lone Star Pride" alternate uniforms for Saturday's game against in-state rival Texas in Lubbock. 

Under Armour debuted this state flag-inspired look in 2012, then the Red Raiders wore an all-white version for the away game in 2013. According to the Instagram account of defensive back Nigel Bethel II, the latest update features a black jersey and a new helmet, complete with the state flag colors and a different logo on each side of the lids.

Texas Tech is a stickler for details when it comes to style, as you can tell by the "Lone Star Pride" arm sleeve and gloves apparently made available with the uniforms.
