GRAMBLING, La. (AP) Myles Crawley threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns to key Grambling in the Tigersā€™ home opener, a 58-22 rout of NAIA-member Florida Memorial University on Saturday afternoon.

The only place Grambling (1-2) dominated the game was on the scoreboard. The Lions outgained the Tigers on the ground, 233-183, and matched them through the air with 212 yards passing to Gramblingā€™s 220. Florida Memorial had 22 first downs to Gramblingā€™s 18 and dominated time of possession by more than 13 minutes.

Chance Williams, who had a breakout game against LSU, running for 106 yards on seven carries, rushed 11 times for 46 yards and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass.

FMU scored first when Serge Champagne connected on a 16-yard field goal in the first quarter, but Crawley hit Javon Robinson with a 25-yard touchdown and the Tigers never trailed the rest of the way. Crawley fired a 67-yard catch-and-run touchdown to Tylon Williams in the third quarter.

Walter Wilbon carried 17 times for 143 yards and a touchdown to lead Florida Memorial. George Young had 15 carries for 73 yards and a score.
