Kentucky held its annual Blue/White scrimmage on Friday night, and in the process, stud freshman Malik Monk gave a taste of what he'll dose college basketball with this season.

Monk is a scorer, an athlete, a flying freak, basically. A flawed but super-entertaining player, he's a guy who could wind up averaging more than 15 points per game for the Wildcats -- as a freshman. He's also got a great ferociousness for the rim. He put on a show with some sweet slams in the scrimmage.

Granted, it's a scrimmage, but don't think we won't see Monk do that on a few teams this season.

Then there was the casual 360 in the second half. This doesn't look like much, but that's the point. Pulling off 360 dunks ... not an easy thing. Yet Monk does this with the effortlessness of stepping over a child's toy.

Malik Monk might wind up as Kentucky's leading scorer. USATSI
