Haslem announced Friday via his personal Instagram acocunt that he has retired from professional basketball. Haslem played all 20 years of his career in Miami after going undrafted out of Florida in 2002. Despite seeing limited playing time in the latter stages of his career, he will retire as the Heat's all-time leading rebounder (5,791). Haslem is a three-time NBA champion and was the league's oldest player in 2022-23 at 42 years old.... See More ... See Less

Heat's Udonis Haslem: Cleared for Game 4
Haslem (illness) is available for Monday's Game 4 versus New York, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Haslem was ruled out for Game 3 due to an illness, but as expected, he's cleared the aliment and will suit up for Game 4. The veteran big man has played just two minutes across the team's first eight postseason matchups, so even though he's available, he likely won't be part of the Heat's rotation Monday.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Considered probable
Haslem (illness) is probable for Monday's Game 4 versus New York, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Haslem missed Game 3 due to an illness, but he'll likely be able to suit up Monday. However, the veteran big man has played just two minutes across the team's first eight postseason matchups, so even if he's cleared, he likely won't be part of Miami's Game 4 rotation.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Ruled out for Game 3
Haslem won't play in Saturday's Game 3 versus the Knicks due to a stomach illness. Haslem has logged just two minutes in the playoffs, so his absence won't affect Miami's rotation. The veteran big man's next chance to suit up is Monday's Game 4.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Turns back clock Sunday
Haslem notched 24 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and one block over 25 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 win over the Magic. After being honored in a pregame ceremony for what was the final regular-season game of his NBA career, Haslem entered the rotation for a Heat squad that was resting Jimmy Butler and limiting the minutes of most other key players. The 42-year-old wasn't shy about firing away early and often Sunday and ended up finishing with his best scoring total since he posted 28 points in a Nov. 14, 2009 game. The appearance was Haslem's first since Feb. 2 and just his seventh overall of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Good to go
Haslem (personal) will play Monday against Denver, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. As has been the case for several years now, Haslem is essentially a player-coach who typically only sees the floor when the Heat are shorthanded. Haslem did log 10 minutes against the Knicks earlier this month (Feb. 2), but prior to that he hadn't appeared in a game in nearly two months.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Upgraded to probable
Haslem (personal) has been upgraded to probable Monday against the Nuggets. The veteran was previously listed as doubtful, but it appears he'll likely suit up. However, Haslem has played a total of 10 minutes since the new year, so his role shouldn't impact Miami's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Doubtful Monday
Haslem (personal) is doubtful to play Monday against the Nuggets. Haslem is currently away from the team tending to a personal matter, and it doesn't sound like he'll be available for Monday's game. However, he's rarely a part of the Heat's rotation, so the 42-year-old veteran's playing status is largely irrelevant for fantasy hoops.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Not playing Saturday
Haslem (personal) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Although Haslem will not be available Saturday, he has played just once since Dec. 15 and does not factor into the rotation. His next chance to take the floor will come Monday against Denver.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Sitting out Friday
Haslem will not play in Friday's game versus the Rockets for personal reasons. Haslem tends to have frequent time off and rarely plays at this point in his career, so the veteran's absence shouldn't change anything from a fantasy standpoint. His next opportunity to be back in uniform surfaces Saturday in Orlando.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Gets green light for Sunday
Haslem (Achilles) is available to play in Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Though he'll be suiting up Sunday, Haslem is unlikely to see the floor unless the Heat frontcourt is decimated by injuries or foul trouble as the game unfolds. Haslem hasn't been forced to miss any games recently due to the sore right Achilles that has regularly resulted in him being included on the injury report, but he still hasn't played since Dec. 15 in Houston.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Probable once again
Haslem (Achilles) is likely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Haslem has been a mainstay on the Heat injury report with soreness in his right Achilles. However, he is not a part of the team's rotation, so his status shouldn't have much of an overall impact.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Available as expected
Haslem (Achilles) will suit up for Friday's game against the Mavericks. Despite being available, Haslem isn't part of the nightly rotation and likely won't see any minutes during Friday's contest.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Tabbed probable Friday
Haslem (Achilles) is probable for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Haslem will be listed as probable once again and should be expected to be active for Friday's game. However, he is not a part of the nightly rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Available Wednesday
Haslem (Achilles) will play in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. Haslem will suit up for Wednesday's contest but shouldn't be expected to play considering he hasn't seen the floor since Dec. 15.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Deemed probable against Pelicans
Haslem (Achilles) is probable for Wednesday's game versus New Orleans, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Haslem has consistently received a probable tag due to a nagging Achilles injury before being upgraded to available. However, the veteran big man has not played in Miami's last 15 games.... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Active Monday
Haslem (Achilles) will suit up for Monday's game against Atlanta, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Haslem will play after being tabbed as probable due to an ongoing Achilles issue. Regardless, Haslem hasn't seen the court since Dec. 15 and shouldn't factor into Monday's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Receives probable tag
Haslem (Achilles) is listed as probable for Monday's game in Atlanta, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Though he's been a fixture on Heat injury reports for nearly a month due to the Achilles issue, Haslem was officially ruled out for only one game, a Dec. 17 win over the Spurs. Despite being available for the subsequent 13 games, Haslem hasn't left the bench, as the 42-year-old has continued to serve mainly as a mentor to younger members of the roster rather than a player head coach Erik Spoelstra relies on in the rotation. Even though he'll likely end up being available Monday, Haslem won't play unless Miami's frontcourt depth is significantly tested due to either in-game injuries and/or foul trouble.... See More ... Heat's Udonis Haslem: Gets green light Saturday
Haslem (Achilles) will be available for Saturday's game versus the Bucks, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Haslem is nothing more than an end-of-the-bench piece at this point in his career, spending most of his time coaching up the younger players. He has appeared in just five contests all season, so there's a better-than-not chance he won't leave the bench against the Bucks.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Udonis Haslem: Likely available Saturday
Haslem (Achilles) is probable for Saturday's game against the Bucks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Haslem hasn't played since Dec. 15, even when available. If the veteran big man is upgraded to available with his nagging Achilles injury, he is unlikely to affect Miami's rotation.... See More ... See Less
