  • Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Not playing in Game 4

Di Giuseppe (personal) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 versus Edmonton, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Di Giuseppe, who will miss his second straight contest, is expected to rejoin the team at Wednesday's practice. He has registered one assist, two shots on goal and 26 hits in eight outings this postseason. Once he is available to return, Di Giuseppe may replace Linus Karlsson or Nils Aman in the lineup.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Making seventh straight start

Silovs will patrol the road crease versus Edmonton in Game 4 on Tuesday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Silovs was excellent in Game 3 on Sunday, turning aside 42 of a whopping 45 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. The Oilers appear set to split stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl between two lines Tuesday, so while Edmonton's first line won't be quite as intimidating, Silovs will presumably face a more balanced attack from the team in Game 4.

  • Canucks' Carson Soucy: Receives one-game suspension

Soucy was suspended for one game by the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for cross-checking Edmonton's Connor McDavid in Sunday's Game 3.

Soucy received a two-minute penalty for cross-checking McDavid at the 20-minute mark of the third period in the Canucks' 4-3 win over the Oilers on Sunday. Noah Juulsen will probably replace Soucy in the lineup for Game 4 against Edmonton on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Soucy has four assists, zero shots on goal, nine blocked shots and 27 hits in nine contests this postseason.

  • Canucks' Carson Soucy: Having disciplinary hearing

Soucy will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for cross-checking Edmonton's Connor McDavid in Sunday's Game 3.

Soucy was assessed a two-minute penalty for cross-checking McDavid at the 20-minute mark of the third period in Vancouver's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3. The 29-year-old Soucy has four assists, zero shots on goal, nine blocked shots and 27 hits in nine contests this postseason. If he receives a suspension, the Canucks could insert Noah Juulsen, Christian Wolanin, Mark Friedman or Matt Irwin into the lineup for Game 4 on Tuesday.

  • Canucks' Pius Suter: Registers helper in win

Suter logged an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Suter set up the second of Brock Boeser's tallies in the first period. Through nine playoff outings, Suter's scoring contributions have been rather limited -- he has two goals and one assist, along with 19 shots on net. The 27-year-old can handle top-six minutes, but he's unlikely to produce offense at that level on a regular basis, and he doesn't make up for it with physical play that would bolster his fantasy standing.

  • Canucks' Tyler Myers: Offers helper in win

Myers logged an assist, seven hits and four blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

The helper was Myers' first point in eight playoff games. The 34-year-old also saw a postseason-high 22:56 of ice time Sunday. He's been effective in a top-four role for the Canucks in 2023-24 -- Myers had 29 points, 110 hits, 136 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating over 77 regular-season appearances, his best scoring output in five years. He's likely to be more reliable in the physical categories than on the scoresheet moving forward.

  • Canucks' J.T. Miller: Produces two helpers

Miller logged two assists, two shots on goal and five hits in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Miller set up the first of Brock Boeser's two first-period tallies, and then found Elias Lindholm on a power-play goal in the second. The 31-year-old Miller has been hot to start the second round, racking up five points over three games. The center is at two goals, nine assists, 20 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-6 rating through nine playoff appearances while functioning in a first-line role.

  • Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Adds two power-play helpers

Hughes notched two power-play assists, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

This was Hughes' third multi-point game of the playoffs, and his first since Game 3 of the first round. The defenseman is up to eight assists through nine postseason outings, and he's added 13 shots on net, eight blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. Five of Hughes' eight helpers have come on the power play as he continues to see a significant role with the man advantage as the Canucks' top blueliner.

  • Canucks' Elias Lindholm: Tallies twice on power play

Lindholm scored a pair of power-play goals, added three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Lindholm's first goal tied the game at 1-1, and his tally late in the second period ended up being the game-winner. The 29-year-old has a trio of multi-point efforts and three scoreless outings over his last six contests. He's up to five goals, two assists, 18 shots on net, 27 hits and 12 blocked shots through nine playoff appearances. Lindholm's goals Sunday were his first power-play contributions in the postseason.

  • Canucks' Brock Boeser: Leads offense with three points

Boeser scored twice on four shots, dished an assist, logged four hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Boeser set up Elias Lindholm's power-play tally in the first period, then scored the next two goals to put the Canucks in control by the intermission. The 27-year-old Boeser has five points through three games in the second round, and he's up to seven goals, four assists, 22 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through nine playoff outings. The Canucks' offense hasn't really fired on all cylinders yet, but Boeser has been reliable in the playoffs.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Holds ground in Game 3 win

Silovs stopped 42 of 45 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Silovs was bailed out by the goalposts a few times, but he was also sharp with the Oilers throwing a ton of pucks his way. The netminder has won four of his six outings in the playoffs, though he's allowed 16 goals in those games. It's unlikely head coach Rick Tocchet will turn away from Silovs for Game 4 on Tuesday, and the net will likely be his until Thatcher Demko (knee) is ready to play.

  • Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Unavailable Sunday

Di Giuseppe (personal) will not play Sunday in Game 3 against Edmonton, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Di Giuseppe missed Sunday's practice and will now be absent for at least one game, though the team hasn't provided much information on when he's expected to return. He has one assist in eight playoff games and has been held scoreless over his last six contests. Linus Karlsson will dress in Di Giuseppe's absence Sunday.

  • Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Absent from practice

Di Giuseppe (personal) was away from the team Sunday, putting his availability for Sunday's Game 3 against the Oilers in question, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Di Giuseppe has one assist through eight games so far in the postseason while averaging 10:11 of ice time. Either Nils Aman or Vasily Podkolzin would likely enter the lineup if Di Giuseppe is unavailable Sunday.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Back in net Sunday

Silovs will guard the road crease in Game 3 against Edmonton on Sunday, Mike Zeisberger of NHL.com reports.

Silovs will make his fifth straight start for Vancouver -- he's 3-2-0 with an .899 save percentage in the postseason while allowing four goals in each of his first two games against the Oilers. Casey DeSmith is healthy and will back up Silovs on Sunday.

  • Canucks' Carson Soucy: Supplies assist in loss

Soucy logged an assist and two PIM in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 2.

Soucy has found more success in the second round with three helpers over two games after he put up just one assist in six contests during the first round versus the Predators. The 29-year-old blueliner isn't expected to put up a lot of offense while filling a bottom-four role on defense. Soucy has added 24 hits, seven blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-2 rating through eight playoff contests.

  • Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Helps out on power play

Hughes logged a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 2.

Hughes is up to six helpers over eight playoff games, and three of those assists have come on the power play. He helped out on an Elias Pettersson tally in this contest. Hughes has added 11 shots on net, six blocked shots and a minus-1 rating while continuing to play massive minutes on the Canucks' top pairing.
