Michael Baron@michaelgbaron18M agoI'm not sure what's worse - these routinely blown games, or these no-show efforts from the #Mets.

Michael Baron@michaelgbaron26M agoThe #Mets couldn’t be any more depressing. Oh right….last year.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo2H agoMindboggling stat: the Mets have blown five of their last seven save opportunities and eight of their last 14. Edwin Díaz, Adam Ottavino, Reed Garrett and Jake Diekman all have blown saves over that stretch.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo3H agoExtremely loud "Fred-die! Fred-die!" chants at Citi Field, as Freeman puts the Mets in dire straits with a missile of a two-run homer. Dodgers 5, Mets 2, top 10.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo3H agoAdam Ottavino, subbing for closer Edwin Díaz, has allowed three straight hits to open the ninth. It's another blown save for the bullpen. Mets 2, Dodgers 2, top nine.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo3H agoAdam Ottavino, who was getting loose in the top of the eighth inning, continues to warm in the bullpen. Looks like it will be Ottavino and not Edwin Díaz for a save chance in the ninth. Mets 2, Dodgers 1, bottom eight.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo8H agoFrancisco Alvarez is going to begin a minor league rehab assignment on Thursday. That's a good bit ahead of schedule for the Mets catcher.
