Getting the start in left field and batting seventh against right-hander Peter Lambert, Myers led off the bottom of the fourth inning by drawing a walk and promptly swiping second base, coming around to score on a Nick Fortes single. Myers has seen regular action between all three outfield positions since being promoted in late April and has gone 5-for-11 at the plate with a steal, three runs and five RBI. If he keeps producing, Myers represents a threat to the playing time of the struggling Nick Gordon (.516 OPS) and Jesus Sanchez (.614 OPS).

As expected, Myers will join the Marlins in Miami ahead of their four-game series with the Cardinals. The 27-year-old has produced an impressive .440 average with six homers, 21 RBI, 16 runs scored and two stolen bases over 75 at-bats in 20 games with Jacksonville since being promoted from Double-A Pensacola earlier in the season. Although he's not in the starting lineup Monday versus the Cardinals, he seems likely to make his major-league debut in the coming days. Myers will replace Jazz Chisholm (oblique) on the 26-man active roster after Chisholm was placed on the 10-day injured list.
