  • Avalanche's Jonathan Drouin: Earns helper in return

Drouin notched an assist and went minus-2 in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Stars in Game 4.

Drouin made his postseason debut Monday and helped out on Casey Mittelstadt's second-period tally. The 29-year-old Drouin added one shot on net and saw 19:12 of ice time, including 2:27 on the power play. With Valeri Nichushkin (suspension) done for the playoffs, Drouin could get shifted up to the top line for Wednesday's Game 5, which will see the Avalanche attempt to stave off elimination.

  • Avalanche's Casey Mittelstadt: Tallies lone goal in loss

Mittelstadt scored a goal in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Stars in Game 4.

Mittelstadt has two points over four games in the second round, with his tally Monday being all the Avalanche could muster against Jake Oettinger in the contest. The 25-year-old Mittelstadt is at eight points, 20 shots on net and 12 hits through nine playoff outings. The Avalanche's offense has been lacking both in volume and depth in this series, so Mittelstadt is far from the only player that needs to find another level with the team's season on the line going forward.

  • Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev: Surrenders four goals in loss

Georgiev gave up four goals on 33 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Stars in Game 4. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Georgiev kept the Avalanche in the game for longer than they should have been, as the Stars put him under siege in the first period but came away with just one goal. They added two more in the second, and the Avalanche's offense once again failed to give Georgiev much to work with. He's allowed 13 goals over four games in the second round, going 1-3 with an .879 save percentage. Head coach Jared Bednar is likely to ride with Georgiev, who will be tasked with keeping the Avalanche's season going in elimination games, starting with Wednesday's Game 5.

  • Stars' Logan Stankoven: Adds helper Monday

Stankoven logged an assist, two hits and two PIM in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Stankoven set up Miro Heiskanen's second-period tally, which gave the Stars a 3-0 lead. With three points over his last two games, Stankoven appears to be finding a rhythm in the playoffs. He's at five points, 22 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-4 rating through 11 postseason appearances.

  • Stars' Mason Marchment: Generates helper

Marchment logged an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 5.

Marchment has a helper in two of the three games he's played since returning from an undisclosed injury. The winger is up to three points, seven shots on net, 18 hits and eight PIM through five playoff outings. Marchment is likely to continue playing in a middle-six role with power-play time.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Registers helper in win

Seguin logged an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Seguin has three goals and an assist during his three-game point streak, surpassing three helpers he had in the first round versus Vegas. The 32-year-old forward could be called on for a larger role if Roope Hintz (upper body) can't suit up in Wednesday's Game 5. Seguin has seven points, 35 shots, 17 hits and a plus-8 rating over 11 playoff appearances.

  • Stars' Jason Robertson: Supplies pair of assists

Robertson notched two assists, four shots on goal, four hits and four blocked shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Robertson helped out on second-period tallies from Wyatt Johnston (on the power play) and Miro Heiskanen. While he hasn't scored in the second round, Robertson has five assists over four contests against the Avalanche. The winger is up to 10 points, 23 shots on net, 22 hits, 16 blocks and a minus-3 rating through 11 playoff appearances.

  • Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Adds insurance tally

Dadonov scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Dadonov tallied midway through the third period to shut down the Avalanche's hopes of a comeback. The winger has a goal and an assist over his last two games after going four contests without a point. Dadonov has three goals, two assists, 12 shots on net and 13 hits over 11 playoff appearances while filling a bottom-six role.

  • Sam Steel C | DAL

Stars' Sam Steel: Two points in win

Steel scored an empty-net goal on two shots, dished a shorthanded assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Steel's shot on a shorthanded chance led to Wyatt Johnston's goal on a rebound. Steel also deposited an empty-netter to seal the Stars' third straight win. The 26-year-old has just four points through 11 playoff outings, but three of them have come over the last two games. He could be in line for a larger role if Roope Hintz (upper body) misses time after leaving Monday's contest in the first period.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Racks up three more points

Heiskanen scored a goal on three shots, dished two assists, went plus-2 and blocked four shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

Heiskanen has three goals and four assists over four games versus the Avalanche, outshining rival blueliner Cale Makar in the series. Monday saw Heiskanen earn his third multi-point effort of the playoffs. The 24-year-old is up to four goals, 12 points, 29 shots on net, 24 blocks, 18 hits and a minus-4 rating over 11 playoff appearances.
