Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Set to start Thursday
Swayman is slated to tend the twine on the road in Game 6 against the Maple Leafs on Thursday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.
Swayman has been solid in his last five outings, posting a 1.40 GAA and .953 save percentage while going 3-2-0. After the Game 5 loss Tuesday, there was certainly a chance the Bruins would turn back to Linus Ullmark, however, they will continue to ride Swayman into Game 6.

Swayman stopped 24 of 26 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 6.
Swayman has lost back-to-back games, but he still hasn't given up more than two goals in any of his five first-round starts. William Nylander had both tallies Thursday, scoring in the final minute of the second period on a deflected shot and adding another goal late in the third. With the Bruins facing Game 7, it's unclear if head coach Jim Montgomery will stick with Swayman or switch to Linus Ullmark on Saturday.

Swayman stopped 31 shots Tuesday in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 5 of the Bruins' first-round series.
Making his third straight start for Boston, Swayman played well but didn't get a lot of help from his teammates at either end of the ice. Swayman has all three of the Bruins' wins so far in the playoffs, having allowed just four goals on 91 shots in his three starts. He started consecutive contests for the first time since February 19-21, and it looks like he's now the Bruins' preferred starter. The 25-year-old will likely be between the pipes again for Tuesday's Game 5 with a chance to send Toronto packing.

Swayman was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports, indicating he will guard the road net Saturday versus Toronto in Game 4.
Swayman is coming off a 28-save performance in Wednesday's 4-2 victory over the Maple Leafs in Game 3. He has stopped 63 of 66 shots en route to a 2-0 record in the opening round of the postseason. After a scoreless first period, Swayman got beaten by Matthew Knies in the second frame and Tyler Bertuzzi in the third, but Brad Marchand and the Bruins took control in the final 20 minutes of the contest. Boston has maintained its goalie rotation to begin the playoffs, which could lead to Linus Ullmark being between the pipes for Game 4 on Saturday, but Swayman is making a case to take over the full-time job by going 2-0 and allowing only three goals on 66 shots in his first two postseason outings.

After the game, head coach Jim Montgomery said it would be "hard to go away from" Swayman for Game 2 on Monday, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports. Montgomery almost always alternated starts between Swayman and Linus Ullmark in the regular season, but he may have hinted at going with the hot hand in the playoffs, at least in the first round.
