Dadonov notched an assist, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6. Dadonov has turned up the offense with three points and eight shots on net over his last four outings. The winger set up Jamie Benn's game-tying goal early in the third period. Dadonov is up to six points, 16 shots, 14 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 13 playoff appearances. Heading into the Western Conference Finals, the 35-year-old should be expected to remain in a third-line role.... See More ... See Less

Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Adds insurance tally
Dadonov scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4. Dadonov tallied midway through the third period to shut down the Avalanche's hopes of a comeback. The winger has a goal and an assist over his last two games after going four contests without a point. Dadonov has three goals, two assists, 12 shots on net and 13 hits over 11 playoff appearances while filling a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Contributes helper in win
Dadonov recorded an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 3. Dadonov ended a four-game slump when he set up the first of Tyler Seguin's two goals in the game. With four points and nine shots on net over 10 playoff appearances, Dadonov is doing a decent job at providing depth scoring for the Stars. He remains in a bottom-six role and is unlikely to produce consistent offense.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Scores from thin angle
Dadonov scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 4. Dadonov struck late in the first period, scoring from the corner with a shot that banked in off Vegas goalie Logan Thompson. With two points through four playoff outings, Dadonov is offering some depth offense. He's clicked on a veteran line with Joe Pavelski and Tyler Seguin since the Stars had to shuffle their forwards due to injury absences for Mason Marchment (undisclosed) and Radek Faksa (undisclosed). Dadonov has added two shots on net, five hits and three blocked shots in the postseason.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Registers helper
Dadonov notched an assist and blocked three shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3. Dadonov earned his first point in four games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The winger has mainly played in a bottom-six role, though he was promoted to the third line in Game 3 due to the absences of Mason Marchment (undisclosed) and Radek Faksa (undisclosed). Dadonov produced 23 points in 51 regular-season outings, so he may be able to add a little depth scoring.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Game-time call Wednesday
Dadonov (lower body) will be a game-time decision versus the Blues on Wednesday, Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest reports. Dadonov would probably benefit from getting into a contest before the playoffs, especially considering he has been on the shelf since Feb. 10 versus Montreal. Before getting hurt, the veteran forward was struggling to produce on offense with just three points in his previous nine outings. Even if Dadonov does play Wednesday, it will likely be in a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Could be back for playoffs
Dadonov (lower body) is skating on his own, and coach Pete DeBoer is hopeful the 35-year-old winger will be a "possibility" for the playoffs, Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest reports. It sounds like Dadonov may miss the rest of the regular season, but he could be ready to return to a bottom-six role at some point once postseason play gets underway. He's picked up 12 goals and 23 points through 50 contests this season.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Shifts to LTIR
Dadonov (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Sunday. In a corresponding move, Matej Blumel was recalled from AHL Texas. Dadonov was expected to be out four-to-six weeks due to a lower-body fracture, so his move to LTIR won't impact his timetable. He has generated 12 goals, 23 points and 66 shots on net over 50 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Out 4-6 weeks
Dadonov (lower body) will be out 4-6 weeks according to general manager Jim Nill, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports. Per CapFriendly, Dadonov was also placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Dadonov was deemed out indefinitely with a lower-body fracture earlier Tuesday, but his timeline has now been clarified. He's the only injured player on the Stars' NHL roster for now, so they don't have a pressing need to make a move. If the team calls up a forward, Logan Stankoven or Mavrik Bourque figure to be the top options at AHL Texas to get the call.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Out indefinitely
Dadonov will be out indefinitely due to a lower-body fracture, according to Stars' radio host Owen Newkirk. Dadonov was injured in Saturday's 3-2 win over Montreal. He has contributed 12 goals and 23 points in 50 games this season. Ty Dellandrea is projected to fill in on the third line in Tuesday's contest versus Carolina.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Hands out helper Thursday
Dadonov notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Ducks. Dadonov was on the fourth line Thursday. He appears to have swapped places with Sam Steel, who has played on the third line in recent games. Dadonov's helper snapped his four-game point drought, but his current assignment doesn't bode well for consistent offense even with the Stars' scoring balance. The 34-year-old winger is at 21 points, 60 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 46 appearances. He could be healthy scratched if he enters a lengthy drought.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Earns pair of points
Dadonov scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Kings. Dadonov reached the 10-goal mark with the game-winner at 15:21 of the first period, and he added his 10th helper of the year on Joe Pavelski's third-period marker. The Stars shuffled their lines for Tuesday, and Dadonov ended up on the fourth line, which doesn't bode well for his long-term production. On the bright side, he earned his first multi-point game since Nov. 24 and has three points over his last two contests after going through a four-game slump.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Pots goal in overtime loss
Dadonov scored a goal and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Avalanche. Dadonov was credited with the opening goal at 11:57 of the first period. The winger has four points over his last six outings, providing solid returns in his usual third-line role. For the season, he's up to nine goals, 17 points, 50 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 35 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Logs assist Tuesday
Dadonov managed an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens. Dadonov continues to pepper points across his ledger -- he's gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last nine games. The winger is up to eight goals, eight helpers, 49 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 34 outings. Dadonov remains in a third-line role, but his more consistent play of late has reduced the threat of him being a healthy scratch again any time soon.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Provides helper in overtime win
Dadonov logged an assist and two PIM in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks. Dadonov helped out on Jamie Benn's third-period marker. While he's nowhere near being a leading scorer, Dadonov has managed seven points over 11 games since he was scratched twice to begin December. The winger is up to eight goals, seven helpers, 44 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 32 appearances. He'll likely continue to see time on the third line, but a lack of power-play usage gives him little fantasy appeal.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Sparks comeback win
Dadonov scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Predators. Dadonov got the Stars on the board at 8:22 of the third period. The 34-year-old winger has four goals and two assists over nine outings in December, providing solid depth scoring from the third line. He's up to 14 points, 40 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 30 appearances this season. With little physical play, he's likely helpful in deeper formats only.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Garners helper
Dadonov produced an assist in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kraken. Dadonov helped out on Matt Duchene's second goal of the game. With five points over his last seven outings, Dadonov has turned things around after sitting as a scratch for the first two contests of the month. The 34-year-old winger is at 13 points, 37 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 28 appearances, though his ice time is likely to remain limited in a bottom-six role. He played a season-low 10:49 in Monday's contest.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Tallies in overtime loss
Dadonov scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blues. The Stars shuffled their lines in the third period, and Dadonov was able to bury a goal with 6:51 left in the frame, tying the game at 3-3. He's scored three times and added an assist over his last six contests. For the season, Dadonov has 12 points, 36 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through 27 outings in a third-line role.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Registers helper
Dadonov recorded an assist in Friday's 5-4 win over the Senators. Dadonov earned his fifth assist of the season on a Miro Heiskanen goal in the third period. The helper was Dadonov's third point over the last five games since he was a healthy scratch for two contests to begin December. The veteran winger appears to be playing more consistently in a third-line role once again. He's now at 11 points, 34 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 26 contests, though he's not doing enough overall to help much in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Nets lone goal in loss
Dadonov scored a goal in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Golden Knights. Dadonov has scored in two of three games since he returned from a two-game stint in the press box. The 34-year-old winger has been back on the third line and second power-play unit -- it appears the benching sufficed to light a spark in his game. Dadonov is at six goals, four assists, 31 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 24 appearances. His mediocre scoring and lack of non-scoring production means he won't be an option to help most fantasy managers.... See More ... See Less
