Raven Greene: Waived with injury settlement
Greene (undisclosed) was waived by the Buccaneers with an injury settlement Friday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
The extent of Greene's injury is unknown, but when healthy, the 26-year-old will be free to sign with another team for the 2021 campaign. The undrafted safety registered 44 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 10 appearances for the Packers last season.

Greene was waived/injured by Tampa Bay on Thursday, but he wasn't claimed on waivers and will revert to the team's IR as a result. The nature and severity of the injury still haven't been disclosed, but the 26-year-old will be forced to sit out the 2021 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers signed Greene (shoulder) to a contract Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Greene arrives in Tampa after having spent the last three seasons in Green Bay. He notched a career-high 44 tackles (28 solo) to go with 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble in 10 games in 2020 before going down with a shoulder injury. Greene should be a reliable depth player for the Buccaneers, but he doesn't have a clear path IDP relevance.
