The Seahawks re-signed Onujiogu (elbow) to an exclusive rights contract Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Onujiogu missed the entire 2023 campaign due to a tendon issue in his elbow. He suited up for one game as an undrafted rookie in 2022. Seahawks' Joshua Onujiogu: Moved to IR
Onujiogu (elbow) has reverted to the Seahawks' injured reserve, per the NFL's transaction log. According to John Boyle of the Seahawks' official website, Onujiogu has a tendon issue in his elbow and the team is determining how to go about it. Surgery is an option but may not be neccesary. Onujiogu (elbow) was waived by the Seahawks with an injury designation Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Onujiogu was likely facing an uphill battle to make the team out of camp, but he definitely won't now.
