Justin Bibbs: Scores 17 in loss
Bibbs produced 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in Wednesday's 113-92 loss at Delaware.
For the first time this season, Crustacean Nation has lost three games in a row. One cannot blame Bibbs, who drew the start and was efficient from the field. Coach Darren Erman tried to shake things up by starting Bibbs and Yante Maten. But the Claws still struggled to score in both the second (12 points) and third (19 points) quarters. Maine will try to turn things around at home Friday against Raptors 905.

Justin Bibbs: Drills game-winner Sunday
Bibbs put up 15 points (5-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with six rebounds, six assists and four steals in 35 minutes Sunday in Maine's 108-107 with over College Park.
Bibbs' scoring total was good for third on the Red Claws, but he delivered the game's most important bucket, as his runner in the lane with less than a second remaining in the fourth quarter held up as the game winner. The second-year pro out of Virginia Tech has typically been a more modest contributor on the offensive end for Maine, averaging just 9.2 points on 43.6 percent shooting from the field over his 21 outings this season.

Justin Bibbs: Starts, scores two in win
Bibbs eked out two points and one rebound in Sunday's 115-91 home victory over the Skyhawks.
Bibbs started the game but only saw 14 minutes of run, ceding minutes to hot shooting Trey Davis and Jaysean Paige. Through 14 games, Bibbs is averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest. Bibbs and Crustacean Nation will stay home in Maine for Tuesday's New Year's matinee versus Delaware.

Justin Bibbs: Plays 23 minutes on Opening Night
Bibbs mustered five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists across 23 minutes in Saturday's 148-125 opening night G League win in Delaware.
Bibbs returned to Crustacean Nation for his second season and picked up where he left off last year. He and Tacko Fall were the two main bench contributors in Saturday's win. Bibbs has a decent chance of joining the starting unit when (or if) Boston decides to call up Romeo Langford. Next up is Friday's home opener against the Mad Ants.

Clippers' Justin Bibbs: Gets another 10-day deal
The Clippers re-signed Bibbs to a second 10-day contract Saturday, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Bibbs didn't see any game action with the Clippers during his first week and a half in the NBA, but he apparently made enough of an impression in practice and in the G League to garner another 10-day deal. Once his new contract expires in early April, the Clippers will either have to sign him for the remainder of the season or let him enter free agency.

Clippers' Justin Bibbs: Latches on with Clippers
The Clippers will finalize a 10-day contract with Bibbs on Wednesday, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The 23-year-old shooting guard from Virginia Tech will get his first look at the NBA level after averaging 11.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the G League's Maine Red Claws this season. With the Clippers vying for a playoff spot, Bibbs doesn't profile as much more than an emergency depth option on the wing and isn't expected to be a regular member of coach Doc Rivers' rotation.

Justin Bibbs: Explodes for 30 points
Bibbs scored 30 points (9-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with five rebounds, three assists and a steal in the win Wednesday over the Charge.
Only four players scored more than 10 points for the Red Claws Wednesday, with one of those players just barely hitting the treshold. Still, Maine was able to secure their 10th win of the season in large part thanks to Bibbs, who was efficient from three, by far exceeding his season average (32.5 percent) from deep.

Thursday's home game versus Grand Rapids was postponed due to a water leak in the roof of the Portland Expo.
A make-up date has yet to be determined. Bibbs has averaged 16.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists through six games in January.

Bibbs posted 22 points (9-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and three steals in the loss Friday to the Go-Go.
Bibbs put together a well-rounded line, but was unable to keep up with the Go-Go, particularly Jordan McRae, who tallied a season-high 54 points in the contest. Bibbs has been a relatively quiet contributor for Maine, averaging 12.2 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 26 contests.

Bibbs furnished 20 points (6-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), one rebound, and four assists across 34 minutes in Wednesday's 109-102 Day One Winter Showcase loss to Lakeland.
This marked Bibbs' third start of the season, as the Claws continue to search for scoring help after releasing Walter Lemon. Bibbs has averaged 19.2 points over his past four games. Expect the rookie guard to continue to see big minutes.

Bibbs delivered 19 points (7-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 25 minutes in Saturday's 111-95 home win over the Capital City Go-Go.
Bibbs came off the bench and caught fire from the field. The 19 points and four treys were season highs for the 6'5" guard. The release of Walter Lemon creates an opportunity for Bibbs and Andrew White, as Crustacean Nation will need complimentary scorers to help PJ Dozier.

Justin Bibbs: Held scoreless in OT loss
Bibbs was held scoreless over 15 minutes, missing all five of this three point attempts in Saturday's OT road loss to the Texas Legends.
This was the second time through nine games that Bibbs was unable to score. The Virginia Tech rookie is currently averaging 5.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.4 steals from 19 minutes per game. He's one of many wings on the mid-sized-heavy Red Claw roster fighting for consistent playing time.

Justin Bibbs: Waived by Celtics
Bibbs was waived by the Celtics on Monday.
Bibbs was never expected to make the final roster, so his released doesn't come as a huge surprise. He'll likely join the Celtics' G-League affiliate to start the season if he doesn't receive anything lucrative overseas. The undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech averaged just 5.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 17.8 minutes in six summer league contests with Boston.
