Evans logged modest tallies in three statistical categories but wasn't very productive on the scoreboard. Wednesday's appearance was his second with the Cleveland Charge since he was traded to the team in early January. As expected, Evans will be a backup option behind point guard RJ Nembhard and should continue to see limited chances. He sat out all but two of seven games across that span.

Evans tallied 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes in Thursday's 120-104 loss to the College Park Skyhawks. He also had four steals and a block in the game.
Evans had a larger role than usual Thursday, and he stepped up to the challenge for the most part, especially defensively and on the glass. He's made just one start this season for 905, averaging 5.3 points in 18.4 minutes per game, but he's also turning the ball over a lot (1.5 times per game).

Evans struggled to make any sort of impact coming off the bench on Saturday. He's shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep this season, so this bad shooting performance should just be an outlier.

Evans played more than starting point guard Obadiah Noel on Thursday, shooting well from the floor and leading Raptors 905 in assists. It will be interesting to see whether Evans starts on Friday or if he continues off the bench for Noel.

Evans was waived by the Suns on Saturday, and although initial indications pointed to him signing with the Rockets, he's wound up with the Thunder on a two-way contract. He hasn't taken the court in an NBA game since Feb. 13 and is averaging under one point over seven contests this season.

Evans will be waived by the Suns and is expected to sign with the Rockets, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.
Evans had appeared in just seven games for the Suns, averaging 0.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 9.1 minutes per contest. Evans (hip) returned to the starting lineup Saturday, finishing the contest with 11 points (2-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and two steals.
It's encouraging to see the two-way player return to the court with Northern Arizona, particularly with two guards ShawnDre Jones (hand) and Retin Obasohan (ankle) out Saturday. Still, five turnovers isn't a great figure for a point guard and highlighted a sloppy night for both teams considering Rio Grande and Northern Arizona combined for 40 giveaways.
