Monday's stat line was fairly representative of White's first two games for Windy City, as he's averaged 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.3 minutes. The 30-year-old played the last two seasons in Russia and Greece and is back in the G League for the first time since the 2018-19 season.

Okaro White: Suffers season-ending injury
White has suffered a season-ending right ankle injury, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
White has been playing for the Long Island Nets, trying to break back into the NBA after being waived by Washinton in mid-December. That goal will be on hold, however, as White has suffered a season-ending ankle injury. He'll look to resume his pro career next season.

Okaro White: Returns to health
White (ankle) scored 16 points (4-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and recorded seven rebounds along with an assist and two blocks across 24 minutes Sunday against the Hustle.
White had been dealing with a right ankle sprain, but he appears to be healthy once again and was effective off the bench for Long Island. He's started 12 of the 16 games he's played in this season for the Nets, so look for White to rejoin the first unit within the next few contests now that he's shaken off some rust.

White was waived by the Wizards back on Dec. 19 and has, reportedly, agreed to a deal with the Nets' G League team. The Florida State product has played in three NBA games this season so far with the Wizards.

White was waived in order to open a roster spot for the signing of Ron Baker, who addresses the Wizards' need for quality depth at shooting guard. White is scheduled to meet with the Wizards in Washington on Wednesday and should make the trip to Toronto for the team's next game Friday. The forward has made 41 appearances with the Heat over the past two years and most recently had a training-camp stint with the Spurs, who waived him prior to the start of the season. He's unlikely to push for major role off the Washington bench.

The Cavaliers waived White in order to avoid paying a non-guaranteed portion of his salary for the 2018-19 season. He signed a two-year deal with Cleveland but never ended up playing due while he continued to recover from a broken foot. White has since fully recovered and appeared in summer league, so he should be able to latch onto a roster before the start of training camp.

White tallied 13 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes in Wednesday's 84-96 win over the Kings.
While he's consistently put up strong numbers on the boards throughout summer league, White had previously been kept in check offensively, so Wednesday's 13-point effort was a step in the right direction. He only knocked down 40 percent of his field goal attempts, but he was actively looking for his shot and was second only to first-round pick Collin Sexton in attempts. Despite finishing last season on the Cavaliers active roster, White's contract for the 2018-19 campaign isn't guaranteed, so he'll need to continue to play well if he wants a shot at a final roster spot.

Regardless, he apparently made a good enough impression on the organization to bring him back for the postseason. He began the year with Miami, playing in five games, averaging 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 16.0 minutes.

The Cavaliers didn't re-sign White after his 10-day contract with the team expired March 28, Keith Smith of RealGM.com reports.
White never saw any action with the Cavaliers during his time with the team. The forward has missed a large chunk of the campaign while recovering from the left foot surgery he required in November, so he may not get another look at the NBA level this season.
