Richardson agreed to a contract Saturday with Israeli club Hapoel Holon, Lior Hai of Eurobasket.com reports.

  • Raptors' Malachi Richardson: Not playing Tuesday

Richardson (knee) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.

Richardson has made three total appearances for the Raptors since the calendar flipped to 2019. The sore right knee has prevented Richardson from dressing in a few of those contests, but his status as a non-rotation player has also been at the root of a good chunk of those absences. He'll likely be destined for the G League's Raptors 905 once cleared to play again.

  • 76ers' Malachi Richardson: Dealt to Philly

Richardson (knee) was traded to the Sixers on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Sixers also nabbed a 2022 second-round pick and the draft rights to Emir Preldzic in the deal, which was essentially a small salary dump for the Raptors. At this point, it's unclear if the Sixers intend to keep Richardson or waive him in the near future.

  • Raptors' Malachi Richardson: Back with Raptors 905

Richardson was assigned to the Raptors 905 for Thursday's game against the Swarm, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

Given that the Raptors are potentially very light on depth for Thursday's game with C.J. Miles (hip) questionable and Kawhi Leonard (rest) and OG Anunoby (personal) out, an opportunity for Richardson to get some quality minutes with Toronto may have been open, but he will remain on assignment for Thursday's G League contest.

Through five games with Raptors 905, the guard is averaging 24.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals, but he's attempting a whopping 18.4 field goals per game.
