  • Kyle O'Quinn: Finds opportunity overseas

O'Quinn signed a one-year contract Wednesday with Turkish club Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, EuroLeague.net reports.

O'Quinn will head overseas after spending the last eight seasons in the NBA; he averaged 5.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.4 steals in 14.2 minutes per game over 472 appearances with the Magic, Knicks, Pacers and 76ers. The 30-year-old was unable to attract much interest from NBA teams in free agency this offseason, so he'll look to impress in Turkey with the hope of resurfacing stateside in 2021-22.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: One point short of triple-double

O'Quinn had nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 FT), 11 assists, 10 rebounds, two steals and a block in Tuesday's loss to Phoenix.

With the Sixers resting most of their regulars, O'Quinn had a chance to join the starting lineup, and he made the most of it with a near-triple-double in 32 minutes. Prior to Tuesday, O'Quinn had played just six total minutes in Orlando, while racking up four DNP-CDs.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Starting at center

O'Quinn is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Phoenix, Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer reports.

With both Joel Embiid (ankle) and Al Horford (knee) out, O'Quinn will get the starting nod over Norvelle Pelle. O'Quinn has played just six total minutes in the bubble -- all of which came in Sunday's loss to Portland.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Available vs. Wizards

O'Quinn (not injury related) is available to play Wednesday against the Wizards after Tuesday's negative COVID-19 test, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

O'Quinn wasn't an every night player for the Sixers during the first portion of the regular season, and it doesn't seem likely that will change significantly in the bubble. In his 27 appearances, he's averaging 3.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 9.6 minutes.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Out Monday vs. Spurs

O'Quinn missed a COVID-19 test Sunday and is therefore ineligible to play Monday against the Spurs, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Assuming O'Quinn tests negative Monday, he should be cleared to rejoin the team ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the Wizards. O'Quinn was a DNP-CD in Saturday's opening seeding game against Indiana.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Totals four denials in 12 minutes

O'Quinn supplied six points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four blocks, two rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 108-94 loss to the Cavaliers.

O'Quinn stepped up and matched his season high in blocks with Joel Embiid (shoulder) exiting in the first quarter and Norvel Pelle (illness) sidelined. If both Embiid and Pelle are held out of Thursday's matchup versus the Knicks, O'Quinn could be in line for another double-digit minute total.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Won't play Sunday

O'Quinn (personal) remains out for Sunday's game against the Bulls, Justin Grasso of Sports Illustrated reports.

O'Quinn has played just 26 total minutes since the calendar flipped to 2020, due partially to his recent absence, which is about to stretch to its third game, but mostly due to the fact that he's fallen out of the rotation. The Sixers may be forced to turn to Norvel Pelle at center, with both Joel Embiid (neck) and Al Horford (Achilles) listed as questionable.

  • 76ers' Kyle O'Quinn: Out again Friday

O'Quinn (personal) was ruled out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice.com reports.

O'Quinn will end up missing both ends of the back-to-back set due to personal reasons. There was speculation the 29-year-old may be waived to free up roster space after the trade acquisitions of Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson, but the team has already made the necessary moves and he remains on the roster.

O'Quinn compiled six points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 16 minutes during Friday's 100-89 win over the Bulls.

O'Quinn held down the fort as the primary backup center behind Al Horford, while Joel Embiid (finger) remains sidelined and Norvel Pelle was sent to the G League. This was O'Quinn's first action since Dec. 31, but unless Pelle is immediately recalled, O'Quinn will likely see double-digit minutes once again during Saturday's matchup versus the Knicks.
