Jordan Crawford: Deal with German club nixed
Crawford won't sign with German club ALBA Berlin after the team failed his medical exams, EuroHoops.net reports.
After he was unable to reach a deal with an NBA team prior to training camp, Crawford intended to continue his career overseas. However, the failed physical now puts his future in question. It's not believed that Crawford is dealing with a significant injury, but he may remain a free agent for a little while longer and attempt to join a team once he's confident he's fully healthy.

Crawford tallied 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across eight minutes during New Orleans' 123-101 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of their Western Conference second-round playoff series.
Crawford was clearly out there to chuck away in what was only his second postseason game with any playing time. The six-year veteran was nearly perfect from the field on the way to what turned out to be the third-highest scoring total on the night for the Pelicans. Crawford has proven he can pile up the points when given the minutes during his career, but he'll only serve as a quintessential DFS tournament play moving forward due to the unpredictability surrounding his usage.

Pelicans' Jordan Crawford: To sign with Pelicans
Crawford is signing a deal with the Pelicans, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Crawford opened the NBA season in New Orleans before being waived upon the team signing veteran point guard Jameer Nelson. Now, with Ian Clark (ankle) out 5-to-10 days, the Pelicans will bring back Crawford to provide some temporary assistance in the backcourt. It's unclear exactly how long the team plans to keep Crawford on for, but he'll likely play a limited role off the bench until Clark is healthy enough to return to the rotation.

Crawford was waived by the Pelicans on Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The move comes in response to the signing of Jameer Nelson, which was completed earlier in the day after the veteran was waived by the Nuggets. Crawford, who averaged 9.0 points, 5.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds through the Pels' first two games, will now be a free agent and will look to either catch on with another team or head to the D-League/overseas.

Crawford tallied 19 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and one rebound across 29 minutes in Friday's 142-101 loss to the Pelicans.
Crawford did not start Friday night and probably will not start when the season opens on Wednesday as he has always excelled leading a team's second unit. That being said, he did record more playing time than anyone else on the team and turned that into a team-high point total. Crawford is a prolific scorer who, even when he does not have the three working, can produce points on the wing, which will help free up big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins down low.

Crawford compiled 21 points (8-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal over 30 minutes in Saturday's 123-101 loss to the Warriors.
Crawford continues to excel off the second unit, and he notably saw 30 minutes for the second straight game Saturday. The 28-year-old has averaged 20.5 points over the last two contests, and has hit double digits in the scoring column in 10 of the last 11 games. Crawford should see a healthy dose of playing time over the final two games of the season, making him a viable Hail Mary-option for those needing a last-minute boost in scoring and shooting percentage.

Pelicans' Jordan Crawford: Posts 20 points off bench
Crawford recorded 20 points (10-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three assists, one rebound and one steal across 30 minutes during a 122-106 loss to the Nuggets on Friday.
Crawford provided a nice boost for the team off the bench, as he attained his second 20-point outing since he was signed by the team. E'Twaun Moore (ankle) was forced to leave the game, so Crawford's role increased slightly as a result. The 30 minutes matched a season high for him. He has scored in double figures in all but two games with the team, so he is a nice pickup for owners looking for a low-end source of points. His role could increase slightly if Moore is forced to miss games.
