Ekpe Udoh: Makes move to China
Udoh agreed to a one-year contract Sunday with the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association, Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.net reports.
The exact total of Udoh's deal hasn't yet been revealed, but he'll reportedly become the CBA's highest-paid import player. After a stellar career in the EuroLeague from 2015-16 through 2016-17, Udoh didn't find much success while largely serving as a third-string center for the Jazz the past two seasons. He appeared in only 51 contests in 2018-19, averaging 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 6.3 minutes.

Jazz's Ekpe Udoh: Considering playing overseas
Udoh has several offers from international teams and may consider returning to Europe next season, Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News reports.
An unrestricted free agent this summer, Udoh hopes to come to a quick decision within "the next week or so," per the Deseret News. Udoh is believed to be open to remaining in the NBA, but the 32-year-old saw limited opportunities over the last two seasons in Utah. "The two years have been good," Udoh said last month. "Didn't get the opportunities that I wanted but I was with a great team, a great organization and was able to build relationships that will last for a lifetime so I'll just continue to push that, continue to get better and we'll see what happens this summer."

Jazz's Ekpe Udoh: Double-doubles in spot start
Udoh managed 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 143-137 loss to the Clippers.
Udoh moved into the starting lineup with Rudy Gobert (rest) on the sidelines, finishing with 14 points and 13 rebounds to go with four blocked shots. Like a number of other players, Udoh is not going to see playing time like this again but he certainly demonstrated an ability to have value when moved into a significant role.

Udoh will start Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
Udoh will fill in for Rudy Gobert, who's out for rest purposes. In 50 appearances this year, Udoh's averaging 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.8 minutes.

Udoh had previously been ruled out with a back injury but was ultimately listed as available for action. Nevertheless, he remained glued to the bench for the entire contest. The 31-year-old big man is averaging just 5.5 minutes across 35 appearances this season and can be left on waiver wires.

Udoh had one point (1-2 FT) and one rebound in two minutes during Wednesday's 128-125 loss to the Timberwolves.
Udoh has appeared in five of seven games thus far this season. Nevertheless, he has earned more than six minutes once, posting two points, two boards, two dimes, and one block in 15 minutes during Sunday's win over the Mavericks, which Derrick Favors sat out with a sore knee. Given the team's depth at center, Udoh is unlikely to make much of an impact even in the deepest leagues.

Udoh totaled six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and one block in eight minutes during Tuesday's 105-90 preseason victory over the Raptors.
Udoh once again saw limited run off the bench but did manage to contribute in a number of areas. Udoh is likely going to be the backup center behind Rudy Gobert but with the Jazz utilizing a number of lineups, it could mean a very limited role for the eight-year man out of Baylor. Barring a major injury to Gobert, Udoh will find it hard to maintain any real fantasy relevance.

Jazz's Ekpe Udoh: Makes impact in limited minutes Monday
Udoh missed his only shot attempt Monday but added five rebounds, three blocks and a steal in only 11 minutes off the bench during a 94-80 win over the Magic.
The 11 minutes were actually the most court time Udoh has seen since Jan. 17, but he certainly made the most of them. With Rudy Gobert healthy, his veteran backup doesn't have much of a role with the Jazz -- he's been a DNP in five of the last seven games -- but with Derrick Favors (neck) now banged up again, there could be a few more minutes available in the short term for Udoh.

Udoh missed Wednesday's win in Memphis due to personal reasons but will be back on the court for Friday's showdown with the Hornets. Udoh's minutes could take a hit for the remainder of the season with the acquisition of Jae Crowder, who is unlikely to suit up for Friday's contest. It's unclear if the situation will result in just a one-game absence for Udoh. In the meantime, Derrick Favors may have to absorb more backup center minutes. If that's the case, more time could open up at power forward for the likes of Jonas Jerebko and Joe Johnson.

Udoh had two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds, three blocks, and one assist in nine minutes during Monday's 133-109 win over the Pelicans.
Udoh made the most of his limited playing time, and he has now combined to record six blocks in 26 minutes through the first three games of February. Udoh has delivered three-plus blocks on nine occasions in 2017-18, providing solid defense off the bench.
