BUIES CREK, N.C. (AP) Chris Clemons knocked down five 3-pointers and scored 25 points as Campbell took over sole possession of third place in the Big South Conference by cruising past Longwood, 88-54 on Saturday.

The Camels came into the game tied for third place with Radford, which lost to conference leader UNC Asheville, 66-64. Campbell plays at Radford Thursday.

Campbell held Longwood to just 19 first-half points and held a 48-19 advantage at intermission. Meanwhile, the Camels shot 56.9 percent from the field (33 of 58), including 16 of 37 (43.2 percent) from beyond the three-point arc, and collected 22 assists on 33 made baskets.

Andrew Eudy scored 18 for Campbell (14-12, 8-6). Jordan Whitfield and Marcus Burk each added 11 points.

Longwood (6-21, 3-11) got 13 points from Isaiah Walton and 12 from B.K. Ashe. The Lancers shot 31.5 percent from the field (17 of 54).
