DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Tanner Leissner scored 20 points, including a pair of free throws with six seconds left, to help New Hampshire hold off Binghamton 71-67 on Wednesday night.

It was New Hampshire coach Bill Herrion's 400th career win, 163 of which have been with the Wildcats (6-11, 1-1 America East).

Binghamton (9-8, 0-2) trailed 67-61 with a minute left, but J.C. Show hit a 3-pointer and Willie Rodriguez made a pair of free throws to pull within three points before Leissner's final free throws.

Leissner was just 3-of-12 shooting from the floor, but made 13 of 14 free throws and had 11 rebounds. Iba Camara added 14 points and 16 rebounds, and John Ogwuche chipped in 11 points.

Rodriguez led Binghamton with 23 points. Timmy Rose chipped in 14 points and Show finished with 12.

New Hampshire had an 11-point lead midway through the second half. A 7-2 spurt pulled the Bearcats to 63-59 with 2:17 left.
