Ravens' Damarion Williams: Set for ankle surgery
Williams (ankle) is slated to have surgery that will likely leave him sidelined for the start of the season, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Coach John Harbaugh indicated Williams will likely be ready by October, so he is unlikely to be placed on injured reserve until the final roster cuts are set. Once that happens and he is subsequently placed on IR, he will be eligible to return by Week 5 if his recovery remains on track.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Damarion Williams: Leaves practice early
Williams (undisclosed) left practice early Thursday and was carted off the field, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Williams was able to walk after being taken from the field, so it's hard to say how severe the injury may be. The 25-year-old started camp on the PUP list due to an undisclosed injury, although he's been active in camp since July 31. He'll now work to get healthy and still has plenty of time to prepare for Week 1.... See More ... See Less -
