  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Back on field for OTAs

Ezukanma (neck) participated in OTAs on Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Ezukanma played in just two games at the beginning of 2023 before being placed on the reserve/non-football injury list in September due to a neck injury. He was cleared of his injury before the end of last season, and he admitted to reporters Tuesday that he had been concerned that he would not be able to play again, per Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post. Ezukanma has appeared in three regular-season games since the Dolphins drafted him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he will battle for a spot on Miami's wide receiver depth chart in 2024.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Placed on NFI list

Ezukanma (neck) was placed on the eserve/non-football injury list Friday. Ezukanma will miss a minimum of four games, starting with Sunday's tilt in Buffalo. The earliest potential return date for Ezukanma is Week 8 against the Patriots. With fellow wide receiver River Cracraft (shoulder) on injured reserve, Braxton Berrios and Cedrick Wilson make up the entirety of the receiving depth behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on Miami's 53-man roster,

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Still out for practice

Ezukanma (neck) did not participate at the Dolphins' practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Ezukanma missed the team's 70-20 Week 3 win over the Broncos with a neck injury and he has now opened the week on the sidelines at practice. The wide receiver will have two more chances to return to the field this week prior to Miami's divisional matchup with the Bills on Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Inactive Sunday

Ezukanma is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. With Jaylen Waddle (concussion) out Sunday, Tyreek Hill will lead the Dolphins' Week 3 WR corps, with Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft likely next in line for targets and Cedrick Wilson and Robbie Chosen also candidates to mix in.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Involved on ground again

Ezukanma had three carries for five yards during Sunday's 24-17 win over the Patriots. Ezukanma handled two carries Week 1, so it appears that his involvement as a depth option in the rushing game isn't an apparition. Of course, Ezukanma's usage could dissipate if De'Von Achane's involvement rises as the season progresses. Nonetheless, in deep fantasy formats it will be worth keeping an eye on Ezukanma, just in case the Dolphins are indeed committed to keeping him involved.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Logs two carries Week 1

Ezukanma had two carries for 17 yards during Sunday's 36-34 win over the Chargers. He was not targeted. Ezukanma was not involved in the receiving game despite Miami playing from behind for the entirety of Sunday's win, but he did look explosive on two carries. It's encouraging to see Ezukanma already log more offensive touches than he did as a rookie last year, but he remains clearly behind Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft on the wide receiver depth chart.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Inactive Sunday

Ezukanma (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota. Although Ezukanma returned to practice Friday after sustaining an eye injury, he won't take the field due to the coach's decision. This will be his sixth consecutive game being a healthy scratch this season.

  • Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Solidified on 53-man roster

Ezukanma was included on Miami's initial 53-man roster Tuesday, while fellow wideouts Preston Williams and Lynn Bowden were both cut. Ezukanma put together an impressive preseason with the Dolphins, one highlighted by a 114-yard receiving game against the Eagles in the second week. His inclusion on the roster thus comes as no big surprising, and with Williams and Bowden cut loose, Miami is currently only carrying five wideouts heading into Week 1. Trent Sherfield currently looks like Ezukanma's only competition for the No. 4 wideout gig behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle (lower body) and Cedrick Wilson.
