Naylor is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Nationals.

Naylor will get another day off as the Guardians face left-hander Mitchell Parker on the mound Saturday. Austin Hedges will replace him at catcher and bat eighth versus Washington.

The Nationals released Robles on Saturday.

Robles was designated for assignment Monday, and the Nationals will now opt to let him go rather than sending him outright to one of their minor-league affiliates. The 27-year-old has slashed .120/.281/.120 across 33 plate appearances in the majors this season, but he should be able to at least net a minor-league deal with another organization in need of outfield help.

Turner is out of the lineup Saturday versus the Pirates.

Turner will head to the bench after he went 2-for-11 with a double, two RBI, four walks and two strikeouts while starting the team's last three contests. Daniel Vogelbach will replace him at designated hitter and bat fifth against Pittsburgh.

Jansen will sit Saturday versus the Pirates.

Jansen will take a seat after he went 0-for-4 with two walks, a run scored and two strikeouts in Friday's 5-3 win. Alejandro Kirk will draw the start behind the plate and bat eighth against Pittsburgh.

Kiermaier is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Pirates.

Kiermaier will get a breather after he went 1-for-11 with an RBI, a run scored, two stolen bases and four strikeouts while starting the last three games. Daulton Varsho will slide over to center field while Cavan Biggio enters the lineup at second base after some shuffling, batting ninth against Pittsburgh.

Varsho (illness) will start in center field and bat second Saturday versus the Pirates.

Varsho will return to the lineup after missing Friday's 5-3 win due to food poisoning. The 27-year-old has struggled to a .157 average with seven extra-base hits, including four homers, over his last 18 contests.

McCarthy is starting in left field and batting eighth Saturday against the Mets.

McCarthy was originally scheduled to have the day off versus left-hander Sean Manaea, but he will now be called upon to fill in for Lourdes Gurriel (undisclosed), who was a late scratch. McCarthy has found success this year in a small sample size versus left-handed pitchers, slashing .429/.500/.476 across 24 plate appearances.

Jankowski is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Marlins.

Jankowski will remain on the bench for a second straight game as the Rangers take on left-hander Ryan Weathers on the mound. Wyatt Langford will slot in at left field while Robbie Grossman enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats third versus Miami.

Lowe is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Marlins.

Lowe will get a day off as Texas faces left-hander Ryan Weathers on the mound Saturday. Ezequiel Duran will replace him at first base and bat fifth versus Miami.

Gurriel was scratched from Arizona's lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus the Mets.

It isn't immediately clear why Gurriel was taken out of the lineup, but the Diamondbacks should provide more information on his status relatively soon. In the meantime, Jake McCarthy will start in left field and bat eighth.
