Crow underwent Tommy John surgery this past August and will likely miss the entire 2024 campaign. Selected in the 28th round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of a high school in Georgia, the right-hander owns a career 4.33 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 221:70 K:BB in 214.1 minor-league innings.... See More ... Mets' Coleman Crow: Undergoes Tommy John surgery
Crow recently underwent Tommy John surgery on his injured right elbow, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports. The 22-year-old might not get back on a mound again until 2025.... See More ... See Less -
Mets' Coleman Crow: Traded by Angels for Escobar
Crow (undisclosed) and Landon Marceaux were acquired by the Mets from the Angels on Friday in the trade for Eduardo Escobar. Crow has not been able to pitch for Double-A Rocket City since the end of April because of an undisclosed injury, but he had a 1.88 ERA in four starts with a 31:6 K:BB prior to being placed on the 7-day injured list. The right-hander was drafted in the 19th round out of Kennesaw State by the Angels in 2019, and he has a chance to develop into a rotation option thanks to a five-pitch mix and the ability to land those pitches for strikes....
